David Hasselhoff’s Heartbreak: Ex-Wife Pamela Bach Found Dead in Tragic Suicide

David Hasselhoff looked devastated as he is seen after the shock suicide of ex-wife Pamela Bach aged 61.

The 72-year-old former star of Baywatch appeared gaunt on an outing in the Calabasas neighborhood of Los Angeles on Friday as it was revealed his ex wife was planning a reality show before her death.

On March 5, Pamela Anderson, who gained fame as a cast member of Baywatch alongside her then-husband David, tragically took her own life with a self-inflicted gunshot wound at her Hollywood Hills residence.

The profound sadness of the unexpected calamity was clearly visible on David’s face, as he appeared deeply troubled while spending time with an unknown friend.

He attempted to go incognito as he wore a blue baseball cap on the stroll.

David looked slender in a black T-shirt along with matching sweatpants and whuite sneakers.

Meanwhile it was recently revealed that Bach was working to create, produce, and star in a new series, titled Over the Hills, which would follow the lives of her and celebrity friends living in the Hollywood Hills during their golden years, per TMZ.

The tragic star ‘worked tirelessly’ to persuade her friends in their 60s to join the show, and had travelled to Europe to ask pals to star, offering accommodation at her LA home.

Bach was trying to get actor Gary Busey on the show – but after 18 months ‘working hard’ on the format, the show never made it to filming.

A neighbor reported seeing Taylor’s sister Hayley ‘screaming and crying’ after she discovered her mother’s body at her home in the Hollywood Hills.

David and Pamela were married in 1989 and welcomed two daughters – Taylor, 34, and Hayley, 32 – before they divorced in 2006. 

One week after her mother’s suicide, Taylor posted a heartrending Instagram message accompanied by pictures of them together.

She mainly included photos that showed her and Hayley as little girls, enjoying time with their mother before their parents separated.

‘I’d do anything in the world to hug you again, my forever angel,’ she wrote, calling her mother ‘my best friend, my whole heart, my everything.’

Taylor resolved to pass down her memories of Pamela to her own daughter London, seven months, whom she shares with her husband Madison Fiore.

‘London will know all about how incredible you are & I promise I will protect Hayley forever,’ Taylor wrote in her message.

‘Mama, I love you so much, the pain is unbearable, but I will be strong for you & hold onto your memory until we meet again my beautiful.’

After news of Bach’s death broke, her ex-husband Hasselhoff issued a terse statement via a spokesperson to DailyMail.com: ‘Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff. 

‘We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time but we kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time,’ he said.

On the evening of March 5, actress Bach-Hasselhoff was discovered deceased in her $2 million Hollywood Hills residence, having taken her own life with a gunshot wound.

Authorities said there was no suicide note left at her home, which is a stone’s throw from Universal Studios.

An autopsy was conducted later that week, according to the medical examiner’s office. 

Bach-Hasselhoff was wed to Baywatch star, aged 72, from 1989 until 2006 when he decided to end their marriage due to unresolvable disagreements.

They went through a highly disputed separation, with her alleging instances of domestic violence against him. Their disagreements over alimony continued in the public eye up until the year 2017.

TMZ first reported her death. 

Hayley, the daughter of Bach-Hasselhoff, posted a picture of her late father on Instagram after his passing.

Officials reportedly found Bach Hasselhoff’s remains after her family became concerned when they did not hear from her for days. 

Emergency services received a call about an unconscious woman at her residence around 10:00 PM on March 5th.

She had left a comment on Hayley’s Instagram just hours before her body was found. 

Bach-Hasselhoff’s debut movie role was Francis Ford Coppola’s Rumble Fish in 1983.

She met Hasselhoff on the set of Knight Rider.  

In 1989, she also snared a role in Baywatch, playing café owner Kaye Morgan. 

Some of her other TV roles included jobs on The Young and the Restless, The Fall Guy and Sirens. 

She did not return to acting in recent years; In 2011, she appeared on Celebrity Big Brother. 

Bach-Hasselhoff had been consistently posting on Instagram, sharing photos with her family, up until December.

After their 2006 divorce, Hasselhoff complained several times about the alimony he continue to pay to his ex-wife until at least 2017.

In 2017, it was reported the couple agreed that Hasselhoff would pay her $5,000 every month.  

After arguing that his income had decreased, Hasselhoff successfully had his monthly alimony reduced from up to $21,000.

The actor said at that point he had paid Bach-Hasselhoff over $2.5 mil since their divorce in 2006.

A video of Hasselhoff drunkenly eating a burger led to him temporarily losing visitation privileges with his daughters, but they were restored after two weeks. 

The individual accepted that the video, taken by one of his children, depicted him in a state of alcohol intoxication. However, he denied any allegations of abuse when they were made.

In 2018, David Hasselhoff married model Hayley Roberts.
