David Guetta has secretly welcomed his fourth child – and second – with girlfriend Jessica Ledon.
On Thursday, the 58-year-old French DJ surprised his followers with an announcement on Instagram: he and Ledon have welcomed a new baby. He also revealed the baby’s name. The couple already share a son named Cyan.
David Guetta, known for his song ‘Titanium,’ has two children: a 22-year-old son named Tim Elvis and an 18-year-old daughter named Angie. He shares them with his former wife, Cathy.
The couple announced the birth of their baby, Skyler, with a heartwarming post that said: ‘Welcome to the world, Skyler ❤️ Our most beautiful secret revealed!’ They also shared the announcement on Ledon’s social media page.
Ledon, 34, shared a few older photos on Instagram, showing what she looked like before her baby was born.
The couple, who started dating in 2015, shared a glimpse of their baby shower, which seemed to be decorated with a teddy bear theme.
Ledon smiled brightly as she leaned towards Guetta, who tenderly held her baby bump.
A cake with white and light blue frosting stood between them. It was decorated with a blue frosting bow on top and tiny teddy bears across the front.
Nearby, a flower arrangement was displayed under a large blue sign with ‘Baby Guetta’ written on it in white.
A photo shows Guetta and Ledon in a kitchen with their almost two-year-old son, Cyan, who is standing on a chair.
The new parent cradled their baby and had an arm around Ledon.
Cyan lovingly watched over his sleeping little sister, Skyler, leaning over her crib with a proud big brother’s gaze.
Guetta also took a quick selfie video as their newborn rested on his chest.
He cradled the baby on his chest, then gently shushed it with a finger to his lips.
More pictures revealed the baby sleeping in cute outfits, and some were taken during a professional maternity photo session.
Ledon was visibly pregnant and was with both Guetta and their daughter, Cyan.
Jennifer Lopez congratulated the couple with a sweet message and three white hearts. Ivanka Trump also sent her congratulations, writing, ‘So happy for you both!’ to David and Jessica.
Tiësto congratulated him, saying ‘Congrats my brother,’ and Cascada wished him happiness, writing, ‘Oh my Congratulations to you and all the happiness in the world.’
I was so happy to see Armin Van Buuren congratulate David Guetta! It was really sweet. And Guetta’s son, Tim Elvis, showed his excitement too – he posted a fun GIF from Peaky Blinders to celebrate the new baby. It was a lovely family moment to witness online.
David Guetta and Morten Ledon were first rumored to be dating back in 2015, but they reportedly broke up in 2022.
However in 2023, they reconciled and welcomed their first child together in March 2024.
The couple also shared a sweet photo of themselves with their son, Cyan, on Instagram at the time.
Guetta and Ledon announced the arrival of their baby, Cyan, with a sweet message to their fans: ‘Love is in the air ❤️ Welcome, Cyan!’
In a 2019 interview with Billboard, the music producer shared how his children feel about his career in the music business.
Initially, they weren’t thrilled, as people started requesting photos and autographs from me,” he explained. He jokingly added that they felt like people were trying to take their father away from them.
Oh my gosh, it’s just… seeing them grow up! They’re teenagers now, and while they seem okay with it now, it wasn’t always like that. When they were younger, they used to actually ask me – like, plead with me – ‘Please, can’t you just be a regular dad and be home?’ It just breaks my heart remembering it, honestly.
Guetta said one of the reasons he left France was because it was creating difficulties for his children.
Now that his older children are grown, he shared that his son, Tim Elvis, is very proud of him and his success.
The popular artist has achieved significant success, selling more than 10 million albums and accumulating over 30 billion streams on Spotify.
Earlier this month, David Guetta announced that two of his songs, “Memories” and “Sexy Bitch,” have each been streamed over 1.3 billion times on Spotify.
He recently shared with Rolling Stone that DJing, for him, is all about connecting with the audience and responding to their energy. He doesn’t think of himself as a performer above the crowd, but rather as someone partying alongside everyone else.
DJs are different from bands because they react to the crowd and create the music on the spot, rather than playing a pre-planned set. This connection with the audience and the energy it creates is what makes a night truly special.
