David Fincher’s ’70s-set sequel to Quentin Tarantino’s “masterpiece” confirms Netflix release date

David Fincher is releasing a follow-up to Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood called The Adventures of Cliff Booth on Netflix later this year. The new film is set in the 1970s and was highly anticipated by fans.

The new movie brings back Brad Pitt as the stuntman from the first film, set eight years later. The story takes place in 1977, and finds Cliff navigating a changed Hollywood.

Quentin Tarantino’s new film, The Adventures of Cliff Booth, will be shown in IMAX theaters for two weeks starting November 25th, before becoming available on Netflix December 23rd.

I was so excited to see that Brad Pitt is back – his performance as Cliff in that 2019 movie was amazing and he even won an Oscar for it! And it’s great news that Timothy Olyphant is returning too, he was fantastic as James Stacy and I’m glad they brought him back.

Elizabeth Debicki, Scott Caan, Carla Gugino, Peter Weller, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, and Corey Fogelmanis are joining the cast, but their characters haven’t been revealed yet.

Even though Quentin Tarantino has achieved both critical acclaim and commercial success, he’s stated he plans to retire after directing his tenth film (counting the Kill Bill movies as one project). He was originally going to make a film called The Movie Critic, but he cancelled it last year.

Fans can see The Adventures of Cliff Booth in IMAX theaters starting November 25th, and it will then be available to stream on Netflix beginning December 23rd.
