I’m so excited about the new Rockford Files pilot! They’ve cast David Boreanaz as Jim Rockford, and I think he’s a fantastic choice. It’s a huge role, of course – James Garner was Rockford for so many years, even after the original series ended – but I have a good feeling about this. Honestly, I think this is the biggest and most interesting casting announcement we’ve seen so far this pilot season!
Emilio Boreanaz first gained recognition for his role as Angel on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, a character he later reprised as the star of the Angel spin-off. More recently, he’s become well-known for playing Seeley Booth in Bones and Jason Hayes in SEAL Team.
