In an amusing preview for Stella, released before the Super Bowl 2025, David Beckham casually enjoyed a beverage with his parents, who unexpectedly disclosed some intriguing news during their conversation.

In the scene, the retired English footballer, aged 49, is depicted entering a pub and joining his on-screen parents, portrayed by talented actors.

His mother started, ‘There’s something important we need to share with you,’ and then his father continued, ‘We’ve got a secret that we haven’t told you – you have an unbeknownst twin who stayed in America.’

David said, “I’ve always suspected that something was left out,” when his father clarified that they often referred to him as ‘the other David.’

His parents pulled out two baby pictures, one of David and one of Other David. 

David questioned, “Was the person you referred to as ‘other David’?” To which his father responded straightforwardly, “If there are two Davids, then one must be called ‘the other David.’

They scroll through pictures featuring the Davids, but there’s a disagreement about who’s who among the babies. It isn’t until David inquires, ‘So, where is he?’ that they manage to sort it out.

Moreover, it remains unclear who the other David is, as the phrase “Who is the Other David?” concludes the advertisement.

However, Stella Artois has said that ‘the big reveal’ will come during the Super Bowl.

In his career off the field, David has endorsed a variety of businesses beyond sports, such as apparel, perfumes, accessories, sunglasses, video games, and many others. Now, an advertisement for the beer brand follows this diversified portfolio.

In 1997, the ex-midfielder launched his endorsement career with a £4 million contract for Brylcreem, and he’s been expanding his collaborations continually since then.

Previously, there was criticism directed at him due to an advertisement for Ninja kitchen appliances. In this ad, he seemed to operate a wood-fired oven, valued at £350 and primarily designed for outdoor usage, indoors. This act led to the brand being reported to the Advertising Standards Authority.

However, the star didn’t allow this setback to dampen his spirit; instead, he showcased his versatility by featuring in a festive advertisement for Nespresso, subtly referencing his football background.

As a connoisseur of refined taste, I proudly announced my partnership with Nespresso in November 2023, joining esteemed ambassadors like George Clooney and the captivating Simone Ashley of Bridgerton fame. Together, we represent the home-brewed coffee brand that delivers exceptional quality and style.

It’s unclear how much the collaboration is valued, but according to The Evening Standard, George is said to have earned a staggering $40 million from this agreement.

Also this year, David appeared in the festive ad for Ninja’s kitchen appliances. 

In May, it was revealed that he secured an endorsement deal with SharkNinja, which is estimated to be around £1 million, marking another profitable partnership in his series of such deals.

During his time playing professional football for teams like Real Madrid, AC Milan, and Paris Saint Germain in various parts of Europe, the ex-footballer discovered a deep love for culinary arts.

Previously, close acquaintance Eva Longoria praised David for his exceptional culinary skills when he shared advice on crafting a classic shepherd’s pie with her.

In August, David made his debut in the BOSS campaign, marking his role as its global ambassador following a significant contract agreement.

In May, it was announced that David had become the Global Ambassador for AliExpress, a well-known international online marketplace headquartered in China.

Previously last year, David was seen shooting a commercial for Stella Artois following the signing of yet another profitable agreement with them.

For more than six years, the star has represented Tudor as their official endorser and appeared in various advertisements.

In November last year, David became an ambassador for TEMPUR Mattress.
