David Beckham narrowly avoids parking ticket as he leaves £600k Rolls Royce on yellow lines in Manchester
On Monday, I found myself in Manchester City Centre, managing to dodge a potential parking fine while maintaining an impeccable sense of style, much like the iconic David Beckham.
49-year-old ex-footballer was spotted exiting Gary Neville’s Stock Exchange hotel with his mother Sandra and father Ted, followed by his £600,000 black badge Rolls Royce Cullinan, which he had temporarily parked on double yellow lines.
It appears that despite the circumstances, the sports celebrity successfully evaded a parking fine since he was busy giving his parents an exclusive treatment, driving away from the luxury hotel.
David donned a neat, navy winter coat following a day spent in Manchester, as he attended the funeral for the late and cherished former receptionist of Manchester United, Kath Phipps.
The group consisting of Sir Alex Ferguson, Ruben Amorim, and his team set off for Manchester Cathedral, where they planned to honor their respects.
For 56 long years, Phipps served diligently with United. When it was announced that she had passed away at 85 on December 5th, the club referred to her as a ‘single, indispensable pillar.’
At the time of her passing, many heartfelt tributes were shared, and it was revealed that numerous individuals from Phipps’ ‘Manchester United family’ had made frequent visits in the weeks prior. This group included none other than Sir Alex Ferguson himself.
On Monday, David’s youngest son, Cruz, playfully jabbed about being a “nepotism baby” in a humorous Instagram post.
19-year-old Cruz found it hard not to poke fun at an episode of The Office named “Nepotism.
During the beginning of season seven, Cruz posted a picture of the title and playfully commented: “This one’s perfect for me!
The children of Posh and Becks have faced allegations that they benefited from nepotism, given their parents’ highly successful careers.
As well as Cruz, they share Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 22 and 13-year-old daughter Harper.
Previously, Cruz seemed especially irritated by recent accusations of nepotism against him. His unusual reaction was stating that ‘Jesus, too, can be considered a “nepo baby”‘.
After sharing a sneak peek of his Beatles-inspired song “For Your Love,” which he posted on social media on Christmas Day, an outburst followed.
One critic commented, ‘It’s not bad,’ suggesting the musician likely had significant financial resources and formal training. The musician promptly responded, saying, ‘Actually, it’s just my guitar.’
After the taunts persisted, Cruz made a reference to Jesus, however, he removed the post from his account within approximately 12 hours.
Cruz, currently in a relationship with Brazilian-German songwriter Jackie Apostel, 29, has changed his music management team from Tap (known for working with artists such as Dua Lipa and Ellie Goulding) to the LA-based C3 agency, which specializes in guitar-focused talent.
For the budding vocalist and guitarist, securing a deal with C3 (who has previously collaborated with The Strokes) marks a significant milestone in their career.
Previously, a teen collaborated with hitmaker Ed Drewett, renowned for producing four chart-topping songs such as “Black Magic” by Little Mix and “All Time Low” by The Wanted.
Additionally, Cruz has collaborated with renowned music producer Fred Ball, who’s made a name for himself working with notable artists like Beyoncé, Rihanna, Mariah Carey, and Ed Sheeran.
Accusations of privilege have dogged his brothers too, throughout their various endeavours.
