On a playful note, the ex-footballer, aged 49, posted a humorous video from his workplace, showing him stumbling upon a Christmas elf setup in his office as early as Monday morning.
The Elf on the Shelf is a widely enjoyed household tradition, where parents creatively arrange amusing and intricate scenes for their children to discover each morning.
David has four kids – Harper (age 13), Brooklyn (age 25), Cruz (age 19), and Romeo (age 22) – who he shares with his wife, a renowned fashion designer named Victoria.
In the recording, he stated: “Good morning – I’ve just stepped into the office, and typically it’s neat here, but last night something seems to have occurred… I must say, there’s a lot of clutter on the floor…

It comes after last week David paid tribute to Manchester United’s much-loved receptionist Kath Phipps after she passed away at the age of 85.
On Thursday, United confirmed the sad news of Phipps’s passing and posted a touching tribute – a heartfelt message of 454 words – to honor her long-standing service of 55 years with the club, where she took on numerous roles.
In the accolade, United acknowledged Phipps as a consistently present figure since the late 1960s and essentially synonymous with the institution itself.
Multiple ex-players and team personnel from the United, as well as Beckham himself, expressed their tributes to Phipps, while she received a personal message from Beckham on Thursday night.
Posting on Instagram with a picture of him grasping Phipps’ hand, Beckham expressed: “Always in our memories… The initial and final visage I would constantly see was Kath, seated at reception at Old Trafford, ready to provide me my game tickets.
‘She was the heartbeat of Manchester United, everyone knew who Kath was and everyone adored her.
At fifteen, I relocated to Manchester, and Kath made a vow to my parents: “I will take care of your son, so there’s no need for you to worry.” True to her word, from the very first day till our last together, she fulfilled that promise with love. ❤️
At Old Trafford, it’s just not the same without your radiant grin greeting us at the entrance… We adore you.
1968 saw Phipps begin his tenure with Manchester United, where he initially served as the club’s first telephone operator, under the leadership of Sir Matt Busby, as depicted in Beckham’s Netflix documentary chronicling his life.
