David Arquette calls his wife a ‘dream come true’ on their 11th wedding anniversary

David Arquette celebrated his 11th wedding anniversary with his wife, Christina McLarty Arquette, sharing the news on Instagram on Monday.

I was so touched to see the filmmaker, at 54, share a beautiful black-and-white photo from his wedding day! He paired it with a really sweet message dedicated to his wife, who’s 44. It’s moments like these that remind us to cherish the special people in our lives.

‘Happy 11th wedding anniversary 1 day late (I was traveling),’ the Scream actor began.

He thanked Christina Arquette, playfully calling her the ‘dragon mother’ of all her many animals – including basset hounds, bulldogs, cats, goats, pigs, horses, a donkey, cows, chickens, ducks, turkeys, chinchillas, and fish. He also mentioned his stepdaughter, Coco, and their children, Charlie and Gus, expressing his gratitude for the wonderful life they’ve built together.

He continued, expressing his gratitude for his wife, saying he felt incredibly lucky to have her. He reminisced about their magical experiences together, from a kiss under a rainbow at Lollapalooza to watching fireworks in Aspen, and told her she was everything he’d ever dreamed of. He finished by telling her he loves her.

Rosanna Arquette, his sister and a well-known actress, commented ‘Love you, happy anniversary!’

The couple share sons Charlie, 12, and Gus, nine.

And the actor is dad to 21-year-old daughter Coco, whom he shares with ex-wife Courteney Cox, 61.

They got married in 1999 and divorced in 2013, after being separated for three years, but have stayed friendly with each other.

Arquette and Christina got engaged in 2014, nearly one year after their first child was born.

It came after the Scream star proposed in Malibu, surrounded by family.

Oh my gosh, you guys, they finally got married! It was so them – totally private and sweet. They had the ceremony in Los Angeles, at this adorable Italian place called Cicada, with just their closest friends and family. I’m seriously dying of happiness for them!

‘It was such a wonderful, memorable night.

Arquette shared with People that their wedding was a joyful gathering of loved ones. He said the most special moments were exchanging vows, making the commitment to his wife, and their first kiss as a married couple.

Courteney Cox and David Arquette were seen together earlier in 2024 at the premiere of Scream 7, which was released in theaters on February 27th.

Courteney Cox began dating Snow Patrol’s Johnny McDaid in 2014 and they became engaged, but they ultimately decided to cancel their wedding plans.

Oh my gosh, you won’t BELIEVE the rollercoaster! They finally got back together, like really back together, in 2016, and I was losing it! But then, in 2019, she let it slip they weren’t engaged again, even though everyone thought they were! My heart just… it was too much! Still, they were together, right? That’s what mattered… mostly.

She clarified on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that while they used to be engaged, they’re now simply a couple – not fiancés anymore.

Things were tough for a while – we actually called off our wedding and he even moved to England. But we found our way back to each other, and honestly, it’s amazing. We’re happier now than we ever were before, everything just feels right.
