Dave Hughes reveals his very odd fetish after he undergoes a lie detector test about his fantasies: 'I need to go to confession'

As a lifestyle expert and someone who values authenticity and transparency, I believe that everyone has unique desires and experiences that shape their lives in various ways. In the case of Dave Hughes, his admission of a secret fetish, though unusual, is a testament to the complexity and diversity of human sexuality.

Dave Hughes has admitted to a very odd fetish after being put on a lie detector.

During an unexpected disclosure on the radio show Hughesy, Ed & Erin on 2Day FM, he admitted to having a hidden fondness for engaging in intimate acts with nuns.

Prior to playing back a pre-recorded segment accompanied by a lie detector test, Dave, aged 53, expressed the importance of acknowledging his Catholic upbringing.

After this important bit of context, the recording of Dave taking the lie detector was played.

The polygraph operator asked the radio star, ‘Do you have a fantasy about making love to a nun?’

Hughesy answers with a simple ‘no,’ to which the operator responds, ‘That is not a pass.’

Dave reassured Ed Kavalee and Erin Molan, “I never had a chance to put it into action or it wasn’t something I’ve done before.”

Following a conversation with his co-hosts regarding his unusual urges, Dave proposed that it was important for him to take accountability.

‘I’ve got to take responsibility for that. I need to go back into the confessional,’ he said.

A few days ago, Dave became involved in an effort to preserve his neighborhood post office in St Kilda, Melbourne, which is under threat of closure among several Australia Post branches.

On Thursdays, over a hundred local residents rallied outside the St Kilda South post office in strong opposition, and the passionate radio host expressed his views to the assembled crowd.

Australia Post has announced that they plan to close their facility on July 19th because of a significant decrease in visitors. They mentioned that the number of people coming to the branch has dropped by approximately 20 percent.

Instead, some local residents strongly object to this plan, asserting that the building serves as an essential gathering place, especially for older adults and individuals with disabilities who depend on the adjacent post office.

At the local post office, comedian Hughesy voiced his support for a cause during an interview with A Current Affair, surrounded by community members who were collecting signatures for their petition.

Hughesy, a long-time St Kilda resident with 25 years under his belt, expressed deep sadness: “I’m utterly heartbroken! They can’t shut down this post office that’s so essential to our community.”

“Something isn’t right here, it’s wrong! I’m at a loss, what can we do? This is insanity. The post office in our community is an integral part of local life and shouldn’t be shut down.”

Residents of St Kilda have prepared and mailed a petition to Australia Post CEO Paul Graham in an attempt to persuade him to maintain the operation of their community post office.
