Australian comedian and television personality, Dave ‘Hughesy‘ Hughes, engaged in a discussion with three women on his program to impart a valuable lesson.
Video clips of Hughes’ reprimand at Adelaide Fringe were broadcasted by Seven News, capturing the 54-year-old actor sternly addressing the crowd who disrupted his performance.
As Hughes addressed the gathering, they could be heard echoing ‘out.’ His words were, ‘I apologize, but this is my production, and I need you all to be quiet.’
‘If you talk one more time, you’re out. Alright, that’s it. This is f**king ridiculous.
‘This is a lesson for anyone.’
He labelled the women’s behaviour ‘distracting’ and the ‘height of rudeness’.
After being asked to leave, the threesome gave Hughes a friendly goodbye; one of them planted a kiss on his cheek while also shaking his hand.
Under the video, commenters expressed approval of Hughes by saying, ‘Excellent! If individuals cannot remain silent for an hour, they should abstain!’

Although I personally don’t find him amusing, I concur with his perspective that he was the host and the interruptions from the women were not appropriate for his show. It seems he got distracted by them.
‘Hope they learn a lesson out of it,’ another wrote.
It’s impressive that he’s been able to attend all these concerts and shows recently, as it seems like everyone is constantly chattering during them.
Hughes’ one-hour long program titled “What the Freestyle?” (WTF?) was staged at Fringe from Fridays through Sundays, and tickets ranged between $39 and $49.
As a lifestyle expert, I’d put it this way: In all my events, I ensure they take place at venues for adults aged 18 and above. However, if a minor is attending, they must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The festival warned his show featured ‘occasional, mild’ coarse language.
Adelaide Fringe runs continues until March 23.
Daily Mail Australia has contacted Hughes’ manager for comment.
