Basic, a well-known snowboarder who clinched victories at the X Games, was involved with Grohl in a relationship that spanned approximately two years, starting from the latter part of the 1990s.
In her autobiography, A Pioneering Snowboarder from Sacramento, California, openly discussed her troubled relationship in the book titled “Pretty Good for a Girl,” published in 2003. She disclosed that she discovered he had been unfaithful during their courtship by secretly dating another woman.
In his memoir, Basich expressed that maintaining a typical relationship with a partner, be it one or two, seemed impossible for someone in his line of work.

Basich admitted that she was struggling to cope with the difficult separation because she didn’t feel particularly robust during that period.
She mentioned that you can’t surrender too much of your heart, your profession, your hours, and your soul. Yet, here I am, surrendering everything for a man and gradually losing my identity in the process.
In the year 2003, Grohl tied the knot with Blum. Prior to this, he was previously married to photographer Jennifer Leigh Youngblood from 1994 to 1997.
1994 saw Dave Grohl founding the Foo Fighters, a move made following Kurt Cobain’s tragic death, which marked the end of Nirvana. Sadly, Taylor Hawkins, the drummer and close companion of Grohl within the band, passed away at 50 in March of 2022 during their tour in Colombia.
