Dave Grohl welcomes a baby girl from an affair. He wants to ‘regain’ his family’s trust
As a long-time fan of rock music and the Foo Fighters, I must admit that Dave Grohl‘s latest revelation has left me a bit perplexed and saddened. Having followed his career for many years, it’s disheartening to see such personal struggles unfold in the public eye.
Dave Grohl is getting honest about his infidelity, again.
The main vocalist and guitarist of the Foo Fighters, who is also known as Jordyn Blum’s husband, has disclosed that he recently became a father to a baby girl. However, this child wasn’t born within the confines of his marital relationship with Jordyn Blum. In a post on Instagram, he openly declared that his latest addition was born outside of his current marriage.
In his message sent on Tuesday, Grohl expressed his intention to be a nurturing and caring parent towards their newly-arrived baby girl, without providing additional information regarding the baby’s birth or the identity of the mother in his statement.
As a devoted husband and father, I wanted to reach out to all my Instagram followers and express my deep love for my wife and our precious kids. I’m working tirelessly to win back their trust and earn their forgiveness. My journey with my beloved Patty (Blum) began in 2003, and we’ve been blessed with three beautiful children together.
Tuesday’s post was not the first time the Grammy winner came clean about an extramarital affair.
Back in 2007, I confessed to the Guardian that my marital infidelity was the catalyst for my divorce from Jennifer Youngblood, my spouse for a fleeting three years. Interestingly enough, this turbulent chapter of my life played a role in Pat Smear’s departure from the Foo Fighters. Smear and Youngblood were more than just acquaintances; they were friends. However, as time passed, Smear found it within himself to mend fences with me, ultimately returning to the band once again.
Grohl shared with his 1.4 million Instagram followers that he aims to resolve matters amicably with everyone concerned.
He expressed his appreciation for your thoughtfulness towards all the kids involved, as we progress jointly,” he stated.
