Dave Grohl insists viral post claiming to be his surprise love child is FAKE – after admitting he fathered a daughter outside of his marriage to Jordyn Blum

55-year-old musician famous for Foo Fighters admitted that he had a daughter born outside his marriage with wife Jordyn Blum, surprising many fans.

Following a popular Instagram post supposedly announcing his newborn daughter named Roxie Junie Grohl, TMZ reports that a spokesperson for Dave confirmed the post is actually false.

Initially, the post was published by user @valeriegreyston on a Wednesday, featuring an image of her hand holding a tiny baby’s hand, accompanied by a detailed description.

The title stated: ‘My darling Roxie Junie Grohl, being your mother has undoubtedly been the most extraordinary journey of my life.’

Daily, I find myself growing even deeper in affection for you and this exciting new part I play. My father stood beside me throughout our journey, ensuring we were both well-cared for, and I am incredibly thankful for his unwavering love and assistance.

After the news broke that Dave, aged 55, had previously hired a divorce attorney, it emerged that he admitted to infidelity later on.

Back in early August, it’s possible that Jordyn, who tied the knot with the musician in 2003, might have suggested some marital tension, as she chose not to don her wedding ring during a seemingly awkward joint appearance in Los Angeles.

Despite strolling side by side on the pavement, Grohl and Blum appeared remarkably detached: Grohl was engrossed in smoking a cigarette, while Blum seemed to be deeply absorbed in her phone.

As they sauntered along the street, they maintained a few feet of space between them, both clad in all-black attire.

It’s unclear whether the musician had previously told his wife about his infidelity and pregnancy of another woman by the time the photos were captured on August 1st.

On Wednesday, it was reported by People that Grohl had already hired a divorce lawyer prior to his public announcement on social media.

Today’s news follows his admission, shared on Instagram yesterday, about the birth of a daughter with an unnamed individual.

“I’ve just welcomed a new baby girl into the world, who was born outside of my current marriage. My intention is to be a nurturing and caring parent for her.

I deeply cherish my spouse and kids, and I’m making every possible effort to rebuild their trust and seek their pardon. We appreciate your understanding as we navigate this journey towards reconciliation, hand in hand with everyone affected.

In 2001, Dave Grohl (age 48) and his wife, also 48 at the time, first crossed paths. They officially tied the knot in 2003 and now have three lovely daughters: Violet (age 18), Harper (age 15), and Ophelia (age 10).

Blum previously worked as a model and TV producer.

Before the news broke, the pair’s eldest child appeared to deactivate her Instagram.

Over the years, the rockstar, frequently referred to as a devoted family man, has consistently emphasized the significance of his family in various interviews.

2007 saw Grohl expressing to The Guardian that his wife, Jordyn, and daughter, Violet, serve as anchors preventing him from totally vanishing.

Blum was reportedly working as a producer at MTV when she met the frontman.
