As a huge fan of unique and quirky dating sim games, I can hardly contain my excitement for Team17 and Sassy Chap’s latest creation, Date Everything! The concept alone is enough to pique my interest – a world where everyday objects can be transformed into potential romantic partners? Sign me up!

Team17 and California-based development team Sassy Chap, comprised of voice artists Ray Chase, Robbie Daymond, Max Mittelman, and Amanda Hufford, have shared that their sandbox dating sim game, Date Everything!, is set for release on consoles and personal computers.

In the intriguing game titled “Date Everything!”, you find yourself in a unique world where commonplace objects can bloom into potential romantic encounters. From a fridge to a vacuum cleaner, a laundry basket, or even the very air around you – nothing is excluded from the realm of love. According to the press statement, “no object or concept is off limits when it comes to finding love.”

With on your face the stylish “Dateviator” spectacles, engage in conversation with various objects to figure out their identities and unlock hidden magical interactions. Each “dating prospect” object holds Love, Friendship, or Enmity potential, opening up diverse gameplay experiences as you progress through the storyline.

Here are one hundred fully developed, voice-acted characters to connect with, offering branching dialogue that leads to various conclusions. This experience includes over four hours of original music, character-specific themes, over 11,000 hand-drawn images, more than one million words and 70,000 lines of dialogue. Furthermore, explore a three-dimensional world and listen to the voices of talented actors such as Felicia Day (Supernatural, The Magicians), Johnny Yong Bosch (Bleach, Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers) and Grey DeLisle (Scooby-Doo, The Last Airbender), among others.

As a seasoned gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I can’t help but get excited about the latest gaming news! “Date Everything!” is soon coming to some of the most popular platforms out there: Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
