On July 30, 2025, HK Adma Tech Limited will introduce their revamped side-scrolling role-playing game, titled “Date A Live: Spirit Echo,” for iOS devices. This updated version is essentially a re-launch of the globally discontinued “Date A Live Spirit Pledge HD” that halted operations on May 20, 2023. The Japanese edition ceased operation on February 28, 2025.

Date A Live: Spirit Echo is a revamped side-scrolling action RPG, derived from the acclaimed light novel and anime series, Date A Live, published by Fujimi Fantasia Bunko. Originally released in September 2018, this updated version was also accompanied by an enhanced HD edition that debuted in 2022.

In the vibrant cityscape of Tenguu City, the narrative unfolds amidst a world besieged by enigmatic Spacequakes, triggered by the arrival of charming Spirits from another realm. Often perceived as menaces, these beings can also be won over through romantic outings. Interestingly, only you possess the ability to confine them, making your decisions pivotal in this captivating tale.

High-speed battles, heartfelt bonds, dating locations, and more

I’m really hoping that the game continues this time around so I can enjoy its thrilling action gameplay full of adrenaline. The fast-paced battles look exciting and fun, allowing you to defeat your opponents using awesome skills and combos. Additionally, it features numerous romantic locations and scenes inspired by anime.

I’m equally thrilled about forging strong connections with these spirits, as it seems quite enjoyable. Previously cherished by numerous individuals, the re-launch appears to be intriguing, showcasing magnificent character artworks, a variety of costume options, secret audio clips, and other captivating elements.

On July 30, 2025, the Date A Live: Spirit Echo mobile game is scheduled to debut on iOS devices! Pre-registration is now open via the App Store.
