THQ Nordic has shared that the updated edition of “Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition” is scheduled to get an upgrade for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 in the coming month. This upgrade will refine and improve upon the already remastered and enhanced version of “Darksiders II”, which was released back in 2015.
In the revamped Ultimate Version of Darksiders II, players can expect stunning visuals with 4K resolution, advanced ray tracing effects, and more realistic lighting and shadows. Additionally, you’ll notice significantly faster loading times thanks to the SSD technology found in your contemporary gaming console.
The enhanced edition of Darksiders II, titled Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition, is set to release on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 on October 15th. The price will be $29.99 or €29.99. Pre-ordering the game gives you a 50% discount before release. If you’re currently playing Darksiders II on Xbox One or PS4, you’ll get a free upgrade to the new version of Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition!
