Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition is Getting an Enhanced Version for Xbox Series X|S

As a seasoned adventurer who’s traversed the digital realms since the days of 8-bit pixel art, I’ve always held Darksiders II close to my pixelated heart. The thought of stepping back into Death’s boots with ray tracing and enhanced lighting is enough to make this gamer’s eyes water!
THQ Nordic has shared that the updated edition of “Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition” is scheduled to get an upgrade for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 in the coming month. This upgrade will refine and improve upon the already remastered and enhanced version of “Darksiders II”, which was released back in 2015.
In the revamped Ultimate Version of Darksiders II, players can expect stunning visuals with 4K resolution, advanced ray tracing effects, and more realistic lighting and shadows. Additionally, you’ll notice significantly faster loading times thanks to the SSD technology found in your contemporary gaming console.
The enhanced edition of Darksiders II, titled Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition, is set to release on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 on October 15th. The price will be $29.99 or €29.99. Pre-ordering the game gives you a 50% discount before release.
