DARKEST DAYS shares 2025 update roadmap with new features, content, and guild system

The darkest days, an open-world multiplayer zombie survival game developed by NHN Corp, has unveiled its 2025 update plan. This includes adding fresh funds, pets, and armor, as well as a host of new content to keep the game exciting and enjoyable.

DARKEST DAYS announces 2025 update roadmap will bring more fun to the game

Over the next year, the developers have pledged many exciting additions to the game. Let’s examine the regular monthly updates that the game will undergo.

June

The main change for June is the introduction of the EXP Accumulator system. Any EXP earned after reaching level 40 will now accumulate due to this update. Additionally, a new feature called Resident Expedition will be available. Furthermore, a new PvP multiplayer area called Holitore Land will be added to the game. Here’s what else you can expect in the update:

  • Community Pass: New Resident
  • Community Pass rewards are enhanced
  • ER Sources outside Rootland added
  • ER Drop rate in Rootland increased
  • Rootland Hack report system
  • New Gun, Armor, and Vehicle

July

In the July update, we’ve got three significant changes: the introduction of the Guild system, progression through the Growth system, and the Summer season update. Let’s explore the rest of the updates as well.

  • Community Pass: New Resident
  • SS-Grade weapon damage increase
  • The raid mode scoring system has been reworked, and the reward adjustment
  • Lonetree Tunnel AFK prevention system introduced
  • Improved stat adjustment system

August

The main change coming in August is the introduction of the Multiplayer Mode, an overhaul of the Party System, enhanced Artificial Intelligence for residents, a new Player-versus-Environment multiplayer zone, and more. Regular updates will encompass ongoing improvements.

  • Melee weapon buffed
  • Mobile control convenience features

September

In simple terms, September doesn’t bring many changes, but according to the game, there will be some fresh options for guns, armor, and pets.

October

In addition to our usual releases such as fresh weapons, protective gear, and transportation options, we’re also planning a community pass for October. Noteworthy features in this pass include the Guild Content Update and the Halloween-themed event.

Besides the typical updates that bring new guns, armor, and vehicles, we’ve got exciting news for our community. In October, we’ll be introducing a community pass featuring two main attractions – the Guild Content Update and the spooky Halloween Event.

November

There will be a new pet and a community pass for the regular events. The key updates will be:

  • New episode added
  • Skill system overhaul
  • New PvE Multiplayer Area

December

In December, the main focus isn’t large, but an essential update brings the Winter Season Event. Additionally, a fresh gun and armor will be introduced. Consequently, the game is brimming with numerous new elements. If you’re pondering your next move in the game, simply be patient for these additions to roll out, and you’ll find yourself occupied with plenty of exciting updates.
