Dark and Darker Mobile to soft launch in Canada on February 5, 2025; global release in H1 2025

The eagerly awaited game “Dark and Darker: Mobile” has officially announced its global rollout, with the role-playing game expected to appear on your mobile devices in the first half of 2024. Prior to this grand release, the developer, KRAFTON, plans a soft launch of “Dark and Darker: Mobile” on February 5, 2025, initially in Canada.

Dark and Darker Mobile delivers an exciting mix of multiple genres

Initially revealed in August 2023 after securing the global exclusive license from KRAFTON, Dark and Darker Mobile offers an engaging blend of RPG, battle royale, and dungeon exploration that will undoubtedly captivate players. The game is set in a dark medieval era, where players are challenged to delve into dungeons, confront formidable creatures, and outmatch rival adventurers.

In this game, you can choose from six distinct classes, each with their own set of abilities. You can team up with friends to form potent squads or opt for solo play. The game has undergone numerous trials throughout its development, with the most recent one being a closed beta test, which ran from August 1st to August 11th, 2024, in certain regions.

During the KRAFTON Q2 2024 earnings call, I was thrilled to learn about the triumph of the Global Beta Test. Unlike most session-based games, this beta offered us players a unique taste of non-combat content, providing a refreshing gaming experience. Moreover, KRAFTON emphasized enhancements in both combat and user interface aspects, as evident from the testing phase.

Dark and Darker Mobile will see a release between February to June 2025

Hey there fellow gamers! Exciting news to share – we’re looking forward to dropping Dark and Darker Mobile later this year. The worldwide launch, happening in the first half of 2025, could potentially drop any time from February to June. Can’t wait for you all to get your hands on it!

Based on the Canada soft launch scheduled for February, it’s unlikely that a release will happen before then. However, immediately following the soft launch is not entirely out of the question within the same month. Developers may choose to consider feedback from the soft launch and make adjustments if needed before the worldwide release. I’ll keep you informed on further details, so stay tuned!
