Daredevil: Born Again trailer confirms release date

As a thrill-seeking gamer, I’m pumped to share that the long-awaited “Daredevil: Born Again” has unveiled a fresh new trailer! Plus, they’ve finally set the release date on good ol’ Disney+. Can’t wait to jump back into the action!

On Wednesday, March 5, the Marvel series makes its debut, serving as a revival/continuation of the Netflix show. The characters Matt Murdock/Daredevil, portrayed by Charlie Cox, and Wilson Fisk/The Kingpin, played by Vincent D’Onofrio, reappear in this production.

The trailer starts off by showing a heated discussion between the two characters. Murdock expresses his suspicion that Fisk’s mayoral campaign in New York City is merely a means for him to manipulate the system.

Fisk queries about his decision to abandon the vigilante lifestyle, pointing out a shared struggle with an intense, difficult-to-suppress aggression.

The show features numerous intense fight sequences, which were greatly appreciated, along with Matt Murdock resuming his role as the vigilante. Interestingly, there are various shades of Daredevil’s masks shown. Could it be that Charlie Cox will wear several costumes in the Born Again series?

One more intriguing hint given by the trailer could be the possible reappearance of Jon Bernthal in his roles as Jon Castle/The Punisher, a fact that might take you by surprise if you haven’t been following the photo leaks from the set.

Last year, Charlie Cox reflected on the revival, stating: “I recall reading [the ‘Born Again’ comic tale] before I embarked on Daredevil in 2014. It had always seemed to me a very intriguing storyline and such an engaging character.

He commented on Screen Rant: “[The interaction between Daredevil and Kingpin is] quite intriguing. It was really enjoyable, and I can’t wait to see more of it. Additionally, there are a few delightful surprises in the form of brief appearances by other characters.

You can currently watch seasons 1-3 of Daredevil on Disney+. The new season, titled Daredevil: Born Again, is set to premiere in the UK on March 5, and a day earlier in the US on March 4.
