A reliable source suggests Rosario Dawson might reprise her role as Claire Temple, also known as Night Nurse, in the third season of the Daredevil: Born Again series. Daniel Richtman, a well-known industry insider, shared this information on his Patreon page.

It’s already known that Rosario Dawson is involved, and now it seems like even more actors from the Daredevil series are joining her. I’ve been following the rumors about her role for a while now, and it’s all shaping up to be a really interesting project.
Rosario Dawson famously played Claire Temple in all three seasons of the original Daredevil series, and she also had roles in other Netflix Marvel shows like Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Jessica Jones, and The Defenders.
She became famous for helping New York City’s masked vigilantes by giving them medical care, which led to her being called the Night Nurse.
Production on Season 3 of Daredevil: Born Again is expected to start soon, with the new season likely to be released in the first six months of 2027. Meanwhile, Season 2 will premiere on Disney+ on March 24th, bringing viewers back to the gritty world of Charlie Cox’s Daredevil.

Kingpin
Vincent D’Onofrio returns as Wilson Fisk, also known as Kingpin, to face off against Charlie Cox’s Daredevil in the upcoming series Born Again. The first season showed Fisk gaining power as the mayor of New York City and attempting to eliminate the city’s masked vigilantes. Now, as a government official, he’s imposed martial law and is prepared to confront them directly on the streets of New York.
Punisher
Later this year, Jon Bernthal will reprise his role as The Punisher in a special presentation streaming online. This comes after his return to the character in the first season of Born Again. While he wasn’t listed in the cast for Season 2, it’s still possible he’ll appear in the series at some point.
Vanessa
Even though Wilson Fisk (Kingpin) is officially the Mayor of New York City, his wife, Vanessa, has been secretly running the family’s criminal operations. Their differing approaches have created some conflict, but they’ve now come to an understanding. This deal could make them incredibly powerful, with Wilson using his position as mayor to help Vanessa expand her criminal activities.
Foggy
For the first three seasons of the Netflix series Daredevil, Elden Henson’s character, Foggy Nelson, was essential to the show. However, he was killed off in the very first episode of Daredevil: Born Again when the villain Bullseye shot him. Despite his death, there’s still a possibility Foggy could reappear in the future, perhaps through flashback scenes.
Karen
Deborah Ann Woll’s Karen Page rounds out the core trio from the original Daredevil series. Starting as a receptionist for Matt and Foggy, her role has significantly expanded. With the return of Daredevil in Born Again, Karen Page is once again working alongside Charlie Cox’s hero to fight Kingpin. The show also hints at a possible romantic connection between Karen and Matt, which is something fans are looking forward to.
Detective Brett Mahoney
Royce Johnson will reprise his role as Detective Brett Mahoney in the second season of the upcoming Netflix series Born Again. Mahoney previously appeared in the first three seasons of Daredevil and will once again join the battle against Kingpin as Matt Murdock builds a team to defeat him.
Jessica Jones
Krysten Ritter is reprising her role as Jessica Jones in Season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again, signaling a revival of the Defenders Saga. This return is significant, potentially paving the way for a full Defenders team-up. Following her appearance in the latter half of Born Again, there’s been talk of Jessica Jones getting her own new show.
