Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Set Photos Reveal 7 Major Spoilers

Photos from the set of “Daredevil: Born Again” on Disney+ have disclosed eight significant surprises about the series, ranging from costumes for the superhero to dangerous confrontations. Unlike other Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) productions with larger budgets that heavily rely on soundstages and green screens, “Daredevil: Born Again” is adopting a more realistic approach. Similar to its Disney+ debut, filming was done in New York City from February to July 2025, before the series premieres in March 2026.

Marvel Studios brought together Charlie Cox as Daredevil, Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin, Jon Bernthal as Punisher, Wilson Bethel as Bullseye, and all the principal cast members of “Born Again” for a large-scale, five-month shoot in New York City. This decision gives the Disney+ reboot a more authentic feel, but it also means that local residents might accidentally stumble upon spoilers while going about their daily lives on the streets.

8 Major Daredevil: Born Again Spoilers From Set Photos

Daredevil’s New Black Suit

In the struggle between Daredevil and Mayor Kingpin’s anti-vigilante faction, we’ll see Charlie Cox’s character, Daredevil, working covertly more than before. To reflect this shift, he will don a brand new, sleek black suit known as Shadowland in Season 2.

A closer examination of the suit inspired by Shadowland suggests that Daredevil’s newest outfit is actually not a fresh design, but rather a blackened adaptation of his traditional appearance. This modification seems intended to enhance his capabilities during covert operations.

Karen Page’s New Hairstyles

Initially, Deborah Ann Woll wasn’t slated to play Karen Paige in “Born Again” until after the creative revamp following the 2023 strikes. This development, however, restricted her role to a limited extent during Season 1. But, with the upcoming season, we can expect a more expansive participation from Karen Paige.

It appears that Woll sported a new hairdo in the season 2 set pictures, possibly as a means of hiding from the AVTF while she escapes with Daredevil, maintaining her disguise.

Cherry Gets Roughed Up

The upcoming episodes of Clark Johnson’s series Cherry on Disney+ may have some tough scenes due to a behind-the-scenes video showing him being taken away in an ambulance after getting hurt. It wouldn’t be surprising if the AVTF, who seem to be managing crowd control, could potentially have caused these injuries, instilling fear among Daredevil’s companions.

It’s worth noting that Cherry played a part in Born Again analogous to the iconic NYC cop Brett Mahoney from the Netflix series. However, these injuries might lead to Cherry being absent for some of Season 2, allowing Royce Johnson to resume his role as Mahoney. Johnson is expected to reappear in the upcoming episodes.

Bullseye is Back in Costume

In an exciting turn of events, everyone’s most disliked antagonist, Bullseye, is making a return to stir up more chaos in the series titled “Daredevil: Born Again“. Photos from set reveal Benjamin Poindexter once again donning his costume alongside a Daredevil clad in black, following the heartbreaking death of Foggy Nelson in the gripping premiere of this Disney+ reboot.

It appears that Daredevil and Bullseye are set for another confrontation in Season 2. As the Man Without Fear chases after his friend’s murderer at Fogwell’s Gym, the Anti-Vigilante Task Force is hot on their trails simultaneously.

Kingpin’s Anti-Vigilante Reform

Following an assassination attempt in “Daredevil: Born Again”, Kingpin intensified his crackdown on vigilantes more than ever before, outlawing such activities entirely. This new policy will be enforced by his newly established Anti-Vigilante Task Force, and a recent set photo hints at their return in Season 2, once again displaying the Punisher’s signature emblem.

Although Kingpin may undoubtedly have his followers on this matter, a R-rated film scene suggests that some individuals will likely remain aligned with Daredevil and other heroes.

Additionally, Fisk’s latest posters are likely to provoke Spider-Man and other vigilantes with his catchphrase, “Keeping NYC secure,” accompanied by the telephone number, “555-NO-MASKS.” This phrase is sure to cause tension.

It seems like “Born Again” could be adopting a similar approach to “WandaVision,” since its title appears to hint at a second season using a Fisk catchphrase, “New York, reborn.

Jessica Jones’ Return

Marvel Studios plans to reunite the Defenders team once more in “Born Again” Season 2, with Krysten Ritter returning to portray Jessica Jones following a hiatus since her Netflix series concluded with Season 3 in June 2019.

Although it’s been quite some time since we last saw her in action, our heroic detective appears to have remained much the same, as recent on-set images show her once again donning her iconic black leather coat and joining forces with a Daredevil clad in Shadowland attire.

Daniel Blake’s Turn

One of the new characters introduced in Daredevil: Born Again Season 1 is Michael Gandolfini’s character Daniel Blake. Recently appointed in the New York mayor’s office under Wilson Fisk, Blake showed a strong dedication to achieving his boss’ objectives, often appearing to idolize the Marvel villain as the city’s savior.

It seems Daniel Blake may have been influenced by more than just Wilson Fisk’s values in the second installment of “Born Again”. Pictures from the New York production suggest that Blake will adopt a darker role, as he was found with a blood-streaked face and an ominous smile.

Angela Del Toro’s White Tiger Costume

As a passionate movie enthusiast, I was thrilled when the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) introduced a fresh superhero character, Hector Ayala, also known as White Tiger, in the first season of “Daredevil: Born Again.” Sadly, his journey was cut short as he met his end. However, hope blooms anew with the arrival of his niece, Angela Del Toro, portrayed by Camila Rodriguez, who is poised to step into her father’s shoes in Season 2. This promising young heroine will not only uphold his legacy but also seek vengeance for his demise.

A collection of images showed a sneak peek of the young White Tiger, donning a nighttime outfit, noticeably distinct from her former counterpart. Unlike Hector Ayala in his all-leather suit, Angela Del Toro’s appearance is casual with a hoodie and bandana as she embarks on her superhero journey.
