Danny Jones’ lookalike son Cooper stays up late to watch him in I’m A Celebrity as his wife Georgia shares adorable video
As a longtime fan of the British pop-rock scene, I must say that the journey of Danny Jones from McFly to I’m A Celebrity… has been nothing short of captivating. His life story is a testament to the power of perseverance and the versatility of talent.
On Sunday evening, Cooper Jones, Danny Jones’ son, couldn’t tear his eyes away as he saw his dad step into the jungle on I’m A Celebrity.
In the debut episode of the show, the actor from McFly, who is 38 years old, leaped from a helicopter and participated in the initial BushTucker Challenge, which is a first for the series.
At home, Danny’s wife, Georgia (age 37), sweetly posted a heartwarming video of Cooper (age 6) watching his dad play on TV in their cozy living room.
As a devoted admirer, I’m preparing to embark on a journey alongside Georgia, the esteemed former Miss England, and her son Cooper, as we head down under to Australia, lending our support to this shining star.
Georgia captioned her post: ‘Little boy was so excited to see his dad.’
As a devoted admirer, let me express that, for over a decade, Danny – my beloved idol – has been united in matrimony with the enchanting Georgia. In the jungle of I’m A Celebrity, he’s chosen his guitar as his luxury item, adorned by our talented son with a heartwarming family portrait and the sweet message “We love you Daddy.” This simple yet profound gesture speaks volumes about Danny’s bond with his family.
The singer was spotted with the guitar in his luggage as he touched down at Brisbane Airport.
Among countless McFly enthusiasts, Danny stands out as a charmer, making him a strong contender for success on the Jungle set alongside figures like Coleen Rooney and previous X-Factor panelist Tulisa.
A single parent, known for selling over 10 million records globally, recently emerged victorious on ITV’s reality singing show, The Masked Singer, while disguised as a massive Piranha character.
Viewers called out “Take off your mask!” which made Cooper excited, as he soon realized it was his father who had leaped from the couch. Overjoyed, he rushed to embrace Danny, shouting, “Dad! It’s Dad!
Thousands watched the touching moment which has since gone viral online.
This past year has proven to be quite rewarding for me, as I was fortunate enough to become a part of the esteemed judging panel on The Voice, alongside music legends like Tom Jones and Will.i.am. In an exciting twist, my McFly bandmate, Tom Fletcher, joined me in taking our first ‘double chair’ together on this popular talent show.
As a lifestyle guru, I found myself gaining recognition back in 2003, in part thanks to my close connection with the sensational band, Busted. I was fortunate enough to join them on tour during those exciting noughties years, which undoubtedly contributed to my rising popularity.
Danny got acquainted with Tom Fletcher during an audition for the band V. Upon finding they had mutual passions, Danny and Tom began collaborating on music alongside Dougie and Harry Judd, who joined in as the drummer.
And then, in 2013, the world supergroup McBusted was formed.
Previously, James Bourne and Matt Willis from Busted made special appearances during McFly’s tenth-anniversary shows at the Royal Albert Hall. Later on, it was revealed that these two would team up with McFly to create a six-piece pop-punk group known as McBusted.
Their eleven-gig McBusted Tour quickly sold out and was extended to 34 shows.
A year after forming, the band of six musicians kicked off their first international tour by opening for One Direction during their Where We Are Tour.
2015 saw the band part ways, yet there’s always been the possibility of reuniting. Fletcher himself said, “It certainly doesn’t feel like the end.
Back in the early part of this year, millennials rejoiced when it was revealed that two popular bands would be performing together again in 2025, promising an epic ‘battle of the bands’ spectacle.
Last month, James Bourne said: ‘The whole tour is to find out who’s a better band. Fans can decide. They can come and support their band and they might change their mind. It’s going to be a fight to the death.’
The announcement for the ‘Vs’ Tour came as Busted made a surprise appearance during McFly’s 21st birthday concert at London’s O2 Arena.
McFly said: ‘Busted have gatecrashed our show [not cool] and challenged us to a VS tour next year.
‘They’re old men now and we are going to blow them and their careers off the stage next year.’
Due to an incredible surge in fan enthusiasm, an additional 21 performances have been scheduled for their tour across the United Kingdom and Ireland. Specifically, the final three shows in Newcastle, Birmingham, and London, known as The Finals Battles, have been officially announced.
