Danny Jones and wife Georgia Horsley pictured together for first time in four months as they put his ‘drunken kiss’ with Maura Higgins behind them

Danny Jones and his partner, Georgia Horsley, seemed to have moved past the controversy surrounding Danny’s “drunken kiss” with Maura Higgins, as they were photographed together after a gap of about four months on Monday.

After their public display of affection at the BRITs afterparty in February, the couple faced a challenging time. Since then, they’ve generally kept their relationship private by posting fewer pictures of each other on social media.

But they appeared back on track this week as they were seen with her family during a huge reunion. 

In the image, you can see Danny (aged 39) and Georgia (aged 38), along with their family members, which includes their seven-year-old son Cooper. They were all smiling brightly as a photographer snapped their picture amidst a group of relatives.

She titled her post: “There were 17 of us gathered. My loved ones reside in various parts of the globe, making it almost miraculous to assemble us all simultaneously. Moments like these become even more precious due to their rarity.

Instead of saying: “Before adding: Cousins, aunts, uncles, parents, spouses, children…my house was brimming, and my heart was content. I missed you, Si.”

You could say something like: “With cousins, aunts, uncles, parents, partners, kids all around, my home felt full and joyful. I sure did miss you, Si.”

Or even simpler: “My house was buzzing with cousins, aunts, uncles, family, spouses, children – so lively! Missed you, Si.

The pair’s most recent public appearance was in March, where they appeared somewhat stressed during a stroll. This occurred only a few days following news of the singer’s kiss with Maura becoming public knowledge.

Recently, Danny posted his initial picture of Georgia following the controversy, capturing their son playfully running through the yard, with Georgia peacefully enjoying the sunlight.

In another indication that they’ve managed to navigate through the turbulent situation, Georgia, previously unvocal, shared photos on Father’s Day – one of her father and another of Danny – earlier in the same month.

Towards the end of May, Georgia shared a glimpse into her recent life experiences through an update, however, she neglected to include any information about the McFly band member.

She shared a series of recent photos with Cooper and her friends – with Danny missing. 

In her post’s title, she expressed: ‘Recent life… Companionship, relatives, recording, fresh breeze and frolics… an abundance of delightful amusement.’

The marriage of Danny and Georgia faced difficulties when the winner of I’m A Celebrity shared an intoxicated kiss with their campmate, Maura, during a Universal Records event.

Subsequently, additional accounts suggested that the duo extended their evening until 6 am, enjoying wine together at the bar of the Nobu Hotel.

Danny, after expressing regret for causing such a predicament, continues residing at the duo’s residence in West London, which Georgia had moved into alone while he took part in the ITV jungle show in December.

In the weeks following the scandal, sources shared with TopMob that despite their attempts, Danny and Georgia seemed more like ships passing each other in the night, causing concern among friends as they believed their relationship was barely holding on.

According to a source, Danny and Georgia have been making their way through a challenging period in their marriage, generally dealing with things one day at a time.

Even though they reside together under the same roof, their paths seldom cross, making them more like distant vessels that pass by in the night.

Danny is getting ready for his summer performances with McFly, whereas Georgia is busy with influencer gatherings and brand partnerships, all the while taking care of their son, Cooper, who frequently appears on her Instagram account.

However, when they aren’t at work, Danny can be found cruising on his motorcycle or hitting the gym, while Georgia spends her free time alone, socializing with family, or catching up with friends.

They’ve kept a low profile as a couple for about six weeks, and from what insiders suggest, their private life is far from typical.

As a devoted admirer, I find myself recounting that Georgia, once crowned Miss England, chose to step away from our shared family residence amidst the stir caused by the recent kissing controversy.

However, choosing to revive their marriage, she went back to the property, allegedly because Danny was ready to take any steps necessary to ensure its success.
