Danny Dyer’s son appears in his new British comedy
Previously known “EastEnders” actor Danny Dyer disclosed that his son will join him in the forthcoming comedy film titled “Marching Powder“.
In the forthcoming British comedy, Dyer takes on the role of Jack, a football fanatic with a fondness for drugs, who must change his ways drastically within six weeks to avoid imprisonment if he fails.
As Jack strives to regain stability in his life, he finds himself balancing his marriage, dealing with an overbearing father-in-law, and confronting his problematic stepbrother. Over time, these challenges lead his life to gradually unravel.
On the “Live and Let Dyers” podcast he co-hosts with his daughter Dani, the actor revealed that his 11-year-old son Artur is set to make his acting debut for the first time.
In his conversation about the film, Dyer mentioned that even a small character is involved. This is quite intriguing, as it seems to be an unspoken secret; nobody else appears to know about it.
“Arty is in it. My son, my actual son and heir.”
Dyer referred to his son as exceptionally talented, yet he remained uncertain if he would pursue a career in acting like him.

“You know what, this is his moment,” he added.
In the upcoming film titled “Marching Powder,” Dyer teams up once more with director Nick Love, a collaboration that started with “The Football Factory” and continued in “The Business.” The movie is scheduled to premiere in UK and Irish theaters on March 7.
Earlier, Dyer expressed his excitement about collaborating with Love once more, stating: “I can hardly contain my enthusiasm to work alongside Nick again. He’s the one and only foolhardy genius I know.
Marching Powder is simply fantastic! It’s like stepping into the realm of The Football Factory again, filled with intense action, drug use, and a generous dose of humor that will keep you entertained.”
“Marching Powder is top-notch! It’s similar to the world depicted in The Football Factory, but with an extra serving of violence, drugs, and laugh-out-loud comedy. You won’t want to miss it!
Marching Powder will arrive in UK cinemas on March 7, 2025.
