Holly mentioned: “The vibe here in Cardiff feels electrifying. I’ve never sensed an anticipation quite like this, it’s as if this event is far grander than when Taylor Swift visited Cardiff.

‘We said that if Oasis ever got back together we would have to be there.’

The superfan couple spent more than £450 on Oasis merchandise, with two T-shirts and a bucket hat.

A year ago, I was here at Cardiff Castle enjoying Noel’s performance. If someone had told me then that we’d return to this very spot a year later to watch Oasis perform in the main stadium, I wouldn’t have believed it!

At school, everyone seems to think I’m quite trendy. Last night, my excitement about seeing Liam kept me awake until 3 am.

It’s astonishing, it just kept growing and growing, they were at a critical juncture but they’re now at their best to accomplish it, they’re not yet past their peak age.

As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but feel elated that the new generation gets to experience the magic of Oasis, a band whose charm and talent have been unparalleled since the ’90s. Frankly, there couldn’t be a more opportune moment for them to shine again.

Last night, I had trouble sleeping. It felt like Christmas Eve, as I kept changing positions all throughout the night. Everyone seems to be emulating Liam Gallagher in their attire. Plus, the atmosphere is reminiscent of a traditional British pre-show pub visit to Whetherspoons; it’s quite lively here.

In simpler terms, among everyone present, it seems we and children accompanied by their fathers are the ones who look most youthful. Meanwhile, our parents are hanging out at the pub.

‘They think we’re ridiculous, my mum gave me a hug like she’s never going to see me again.

We’re passionate fans, with Oasis being the driving force behind my decision to relocate to Manchester, where I could immerse myself in the local music culture. Originally, we hail from the Welsh countryside.

She commented: ‘I’ve spent more than £200 on merchandise, but I’ve been saving up because I had planned to buy things. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, it’s not usual to say you attended their debut show, and the atmosphere here is electrifying. I’ve never seen Cardiff so crowded before.’

‘My dreams have come true.

This is an extraordinary chance. It’s a moment we’ve long dreamed about yet never truly expected to experience. Being involved in it is astonishing. The initial day holds such anticipation, as we can only guess what might unfold later. I sincerely hope they maintain their composure and there will be another night. However, the first night carries significant historical weight.

I’m overjoyed that Cardiff is hosting such a wonderful day and the weather cooperated. We feel honored they chose us for their tour kickoff. With so many Welsh fans, I told my son, ‘You won’t see this many people wearing zebra stripes here again in your lifetime.’

David Griffin, aged 56 and a postman, expressed his reason for attending in this way: “We returned from our vacation in Bosnia specifically for this event. I had pledged that if they ever performed again, I would bring her. To be honest, she hasn’t had much say in the matter; she’s been listening to it for 21 years.

Chloe Griffin, her 21-year-old daughter, expressed: ‘Growing up, I heard about this place everywhere around our home. Now that I’m really here, it’s hard for me to grasp it.’

In another location, the trio of friends, Antoine Bordeau, Clement Santoro, and Alexandre Bordeau from Paris, collectively shelled out approximately £1,300 apiece for tickets to the opening event. The following day, they departed.

They paid an extra £90 on the Oasis collaboration with Adidas tracksuit tops.

In a straightforward manner, Clement, aged 30, expressed: “We adore the British folks around us; they’ve been incredibly kind to us – from bus drivers to security guards. We have deep affection for Oasis and Wales. Here in Britain, we’re truly experiencing an authentic experience.
