Danny Cipriani’s ex-wife Victoria left ‘furious’ after rugby star savagely ‘uses their wedding song’ to honour on-off girlfriend AnnaLynne McCord’s birthday following surprise reunion

Danny Cirpriani’s former spouse, Victoria Rose O’Callaghan, is reported to be both enraged and greatly taken aback due to the rugby player’s reconciliation with his girlfriend, AnnaLynne McCord.

Previously prominent soccer player from England, aged 37, had a relationship with the well-known actress from Beverly Hills, 90210, for nearly a year during his divorce proceedings. Later, they publicly rekindled their romance, displaying affection towards each other at an Emmy nomination event in Los Angeles on Thursday night.

Later on, Danny shared a heartfelt message on Instagram for AnnaLynne’s birthday, using lyrics that Victoria, who married the athlete in April 2021 but split after two years, said were from their wedding song.

In addition to a heartwarming photo, he wrote: “Happy Birthday, My Dear One. Your radiance is brilliant, and it’s evident that you bring light into the lives of those you encounter.

You share your kindness so freely, making a world filled with harmony and affection wherever you travel. I truly appreciate you.

In a statement shared with The Sun, Victoria, aged 44, expressed: “The tune Danny chose for his girlfriend’s birthday tribute? It turns out that was our wedding song. Hearing it used in that context was quite a surprise for me, as we often played it during our marriage.

However, this action merely underscores his detachment. If it weren’t so surprising, it would be laughable. He has sacrificed his entire rugby career and all his possessions, such as trophies, clothes, lanyards, and more. Now he’s even giving away our wedding song!

It was revealed in January that the pair had gone their separate ways. 

This holiday season, rather than jetting off to the United States to be with AnnaLynne, Danny, the star of Netflix’s Celebrity Bear Hunt hosted by Holly Willoughby and Bear Grylls, chose to celebrate Christmas and New Year in the UK instead.

On December 21st, the former Strictly contestant decided to cut ties with AnnaLynne on Instagram, hinting at potential issues in their relationship. Earlier in the year, a trusted confidante of the ex-couple had disclosed to TopMob that their relationship had been strained for several weeks.

It is thought that AnnaLynee may have been among the women Danny started dating after a difficult divorce from his wife Victoria, who turned 42 in 2023 and separated from him in November of that year following four years of marriage.

Last year, Victoria confided to The Sun that she felt deeply saddened upon uncovering conversations between Danny and multiple women.

In my professional opinion, I was taken aback and deeply saddened by the revelation. It wasn’t explicit messages, but rather compliments on beauty and expressions of emotional bonds he shared with other women. Needless to say, it’s not the kind of correspondence a wife wishes to discover her husband exchanging.

According to Victoria, it was the excessive drug use by Danny that turned out to be a challenge in their relationship, as she expressed her feelings of concern and distress over his consumption habits.

She remarked, “I grew tired of it, and it would often make me angry. He would repeatedly promise not to use drugs in the morning, only to be using them again by noon.

The mom, with two kids from various relationships, asserted that Danny often consumes chocolate bars infused with mushrooms, and she can’t always tell whether he has taken them or not because he performs exceptionally well on them.

She mentioned that one day, he gathered a substantial quantity and merely stretched out on the floor. Thinking I could assist him, he expressed his desire to quit using drugs. Danny had been consuming numerous prescription medications, and I simply responded, “That’s enough.

In the past, Danny openly acknowledged using cocaine, a crystallized form of a psychedelic derived from toads, as well as consuming such an abundance of magic mushrooms that he began to believe his spouse was attempting to harm her.

In 2019, the couple got acquainted through a common friend, and by the time the COVID-19 lockdown began, Victoria became pregnant with their child. Sadly, they experienced a heart-wrenching loss when their son, whom they named River, was born prematurely at just 23 weeks in June 2020.

Danny has had relationships with well-known personalities such as ex-model Katie Price and actress Kelly Brook from television.

In the year 2007, Danny was involved in a brief romance with Monica Irimia from the Cheeky Girls. According to her, their relationship ended as Danny wasn’t interested in a long-term commitment.

During the years spanning from 2008 to 2010, I found myself in a romantic relationship with the radio host, Kelly. However, our love story took an unexpected turn when, in the vibrant city of Las Vegas, I unwittingly shared my phone number with a captivating stripper, ultimately leading to the end of our relationship.

After parting ways with model Kelly, Danny spent some time socializing with American actress Lindsay Lohan following their meeting in Los Angeles.

In her 2013 memoir titled “Love, Lipstick and Lies”, Katie Price retaliated against Danny for his infidelity during their relationship by revealing his indiscretions. (Danny is a rugby star in this context.)

She disclosed that she discovered Danny with another woman, stating: ‘Nowadays, he seems to miss the targets on the rugby pitch, and apparently, he struggles to locate them off the field as well.’

Danny had a six-month relationship with sports broadcaster Kirsty Gallacher, however, it appears they ended things due to their significant age difference of 12 years.

He met estranged wife Victoria in 2019 and they were engaged by January 2021.

On April 27, 2022, the pair exchanged vows during a private wedding ceremony. Overjoyed, Danny shared the news with his Instagram audience, posting: ‘I married my dearest friend today!’
