Danniella Westbrook enjoys a night out in London with MAFS UK stars as she recovers after being rushed to hospital with breathing difficulties

Danniella Westbrook was seen out in London, enjoying an evening as she continues to recover from a recent hospital stay for breathing problems.

Former EastEnders star, 52, was spotted out with Steven Springett and Divarni Balogun, who both appeared on the reality show Married At First Sight UK, in Mayfair on Wednesday.

This happened a few weeks after she was hospitalized with trouble breathing, a problem she’d been dealing with for years due to a collapsed septum.

Danniella was originally cast in the movie ‘Tales From The Trap,’ but due to health problems, she was replaced by another actress.

After recovering from her hospital stint, Danniella headed out for the night in a beige fur coat.

She completed the outfit with a patterned t-shirt, dark wash barrel-leg jeans, a black and white scarf, and comfortable, chunky sneakers.

Danniella recently appeared in public after it was revealed she needed medical help in December due to breathing problems. This came after sources told the Daily Mail that she hasn’t been in a movie or TV show since 2016.

Danniella was originally cast in ‘Tales From The Trap,’ alongside Liv Hawkins from ‘Love Island,’ to play a tough, gun-selling grandmother. However, she has been replaced by Kim Tiddy, known for her role in ‘Slow Horses’.

According to a friend, Danniella was hospitalized on Friday because she was having trouble breathing. This meant she couldn’t continue filming her role in ‘Tales From The Trap’.

She was scheduled to return to acting in a film playing a tough grandmother who sells AK-47s to criminals. It’s a shame, because many people were excited to see her in that role.

Sources say producers were relieved to find Kim Tiddy as a replacement. She recently appeared in “Slow Horses” alongside Gary Oldman and was a long-time cast member on the TV show “The Bill.”

Kidulthood star Adam Deacon has also been added to the roster.

Danniella Westbrook, known for playing Sam Mitchell on the BBC’s EastEnders starting at age 16, was going to appear in a project with producer and actor Terry Stone, alongside Vas Blackwood, Frazer Clarke, Judith Shekoni, and rising grime artist Amzzino.

This intense drama explores the harsh realities of gang life in south London, focusing on county lines, the drill music scene, and the violence that affects inner-city communities. It’s the most ambitious and daring project yet from the producer known for his classic crime films.

Terry Stone, famous for films like Rise of the Footsoldier, Bonded by Blood, and Shank, describes his new movie as a fresh and impactful take on the kind of gritty crime dramas he’s known for.

He expressed immense excitement about finally starting the film, explaining that he’s been eager to share its powerful story, vibrant energy, and honest emotions with audiences for quite some time.

Tales From the Trap is a gritty, intense drama, similar to shows like Top Boy and Blue Story, but even more extreme. It’s a raw look into street life, and we’re excited to introduce some incredibly talented new actors to viewers.

As a lifestyle observer, I remember Danniella really shining on Celebrity Big Brother back in 2016! She did incredibly well, actually winning the whole competition – a fantastic achievement!

She first appeared on reality TV in 2003 with I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here, then skated on Dancing On Ice in 2010. In 2013, she joined the cast of the Channel 4 soap opera, Hollyoaks.

The TV star first became well-known at 16 on the show EastEnders. However, because of her cocaine use, producers had to end her contract and remove her character from the show in 1996.

Danniella recently announced she’s undergoing extensive surgery to reconstruct her face, describing it as a lengthy procedure.

The actress has had several surgeries to repair damage to her face caused by past cocaine use and osteoporosis, which had led to a noticeable loss of facial structure.

In 2023, she revealed she was unhappy with the results of her facial reconstruction. She had waited seven years to find a surgeon who would perform the procedure, as her septum was in poor condition.
