Danielle Mason, 42, reveals she’s found love with former footballer, 27, after claiming ex-fiancé ‘attacked her’ on night of their engagement party: ‘I’ve swapped nasty boys for toy boys!’

I, being an over-the-moon fan, can hardly contain my excitement as I share the news that the brilliant Danielle Mason is now romantically linked with a dashing ex-footballer! This development comes a full year after the heartbreaking incident where her ex-fiancé was accused of assaulting her at their engagement party. Previously known as a Page 3 model, Jesse Wallace’s younger sibling recently posted a picture showing signs of injury on her face, allegedly inflicted by her former partner, Lee Dopson.

I was informed that the unfortunate incident transpired several hours following our engagement celebration held at the DoubleTree By Hilton St Anne’s, Wokingham, in November 2024 – an occasion we celebrated extravagantly.

Danielle, 42, has since served Lee a non-molestation order.

Afterward, she resumed dating, admitting to the Daily Mail that she had traded unsavory partners for those younger than herself. She expressed her delight with her new boyfriend.

Approximately a month following her breakup with Lee in May, Danielle disclosed that she had encountered Jordan Vincent, a 27-year-old individual who previously played football for the Chelsea Youth League and is currently employed in construction.

She acknowledged that Jordan played a significant role in her healing from her heartbreak, and quickly, they formed a robust connection.

After dating for two months, Jordan officially asked Danielle to be his girlfriend last week.  

Danielle admitted, “I initially felt it was premature, but then I reasoned, ‘Why not?’ since I’m not attracted to anyone else at the moment, and he assured me the same.

In a recent Instagram post, she shared about her challenging year, highlighting joyful times spent with friends, expressing it as: ‘Emerging from the turmoil, finding my way back to myself.’

Over the past three months, it’s been a time filled with hearty laughter, sleepless nights, and individuals who reconnected me with my true self.

A week ago, Danielle asserted that she had been assaulted by Lee, feeling compelled to speak up about it publicly since he made similar accusations on social media platforms first.

Lee shared a video compilation showing multiple scratches on his face, which Danielle claimed to the Daily Mail, were inflicted during self-defense during the attack.

In 2023, Danielle, who first crossed paths with Lee during their kids’ school pick-ups at a local supermarket, later expressed gratitude to her Instagram community with a heartfelt post.

She penned: ‘The messages of support I’ve had yesterday has actually blown me away. 

I found it difficult to address a topic that terrified me, but I truly appreciate your patience. I’ll get back to everyone when I can.

The Daily Mail contacted Lee for comment.

In May, Danielle announced that she and the landscape gardener were no longer together, hinting at a fresh start in her life. Yet, she hadn’t discussed the specifics of their separation until her remarks made on Monday night.

In a unique family arrangement, both members of the couple have children from past relationships. Specifically, Danielle is the mother of two children – a 12-year-old and a ten-year-old – with her former husband Tony Giles, whom she appeared alongside on the popular Channel 4 series My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding.

It seems puzzling to me that the individual I allegedly acted against has continued to publicly discuss me. Now, it’s become quite amusing, actually. Today, I consulted with my lawyer regarding the situation…

It seems contradictory to me when someone, having experienced similar situations as you with women, claims to be an innocent bystander. This behavior doesn’t sit right and I find myself now comfortable enough to openly express my honest opinions.

In another set of narratives, she addressed the camera once more, remarking: “I’m puzzled as to why you believe it’s acceptable to undermine a woman with all your actions, only to further belittle her on social media…

You weren’t billed for your actions because I chose not to create an official record, but I was willing to secure a non-molestation order. It seems you wanted to bring attention to the situation on social media. However, I prefer to avoid any unwanted attention…

She completed her narratives by penning a brief post stating, “I had preferred to remain silent, but I am being compelled to do so now.

In simpler terms, a non-molestation order is a legal protection issued by a court in the UK under the Family Law Act of 1996. This order shields an individual (referred to as ‘associated person’) and any children involved from unwanted actions like violence, threats, harassment, or persistent bothering by the other party (the respondent).

In order to be considered, it’s essential that you were involved in an eligible relationship with the other party, and you should fill out the necessary form, which is the FL401, available on the GOV.UK website. Alongside this, provide a witness statement explaining your reasons for seeking protection.

The rule may restrict the respondent from physically harming or threatening harm against you or minors, as well as preventing them from directly or indirectly contacting, harassing, or bothering you or children. Additionally, it might prevent the respondent from visiting certain locations and prohibit them from urging others to carry out any of the restricted actions.
