Additionally, Danielle posted photos showing her enjoying herself at Tomorrowland and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s concert at Ushuaïa Ibiza a day prior.
More recently, the public figure disclosed her journey towards improving her health, which included shedding approximately four kilograms through regular Pilates practice, following some alarming health incidents.
In February, she received a diagnosis of the most severe type of skin cancer, melanoma, causing her immense anxiety about her life that made it difficult for her to maintain proper nutrition or rest.
Previously battling cancer and now in remission, Danielle confided to The Sun recently, “As a mother, I tried to maintain a strong exterior for all, but deep down, I’ve been falling apart. Every day, I was tormented by the fear that I might not survive.
She has five children, including her shared son Ronnie (7) and daughter Autumn Rose (3) with husband Michael O’Neill, as well as sons Archie (14), Harry (13), and George (11) from her previous marriage to Jamie O’Hara.
The signs of melanoma often involve either a newly appearing mole or alterations in an existing mole, just as occurred with the celebrity, who spotted that a mole on her neck was transforming in shape.
Following the heartbreaking passing of a dear friend due to bowel cancer the last year, she felt it necessary to explore further and scheduled an appointment with her general practitioner. Subsequently, her doctor recommended a dermatologist who suggested a surgical removal.
In December, Danielle faced a long and painful wait of approximately nine weeks before receiving her diagnosis.

Upon reminiscing about that moment, I shared, “I was taken aback and couldn’t help but break down in tears. Hearing the term ‘cancer’ took me by surprise, and for a moment, all I could think was, ‘This is it, I’m facing my mortality.’
After that, they needed to excise the skin around the mole for precautionary reasons while doctors were determining if the cancer had metastasized.
Thankfully, eight weeks after her February procedure, Danielle was told she was cancer free.
In a heartfelt video posted on Instagram in February, she shared with her audience that she had received a medical diagnosis concerning one of her moles, which she had observed had undergone a change.
She shared that she informed her eldest three children about her diagnosis, while choosing not to disclose it to the younger two due to their age; she didn’t want them misunderstanding and forming undesirable interpretations.
‘It was difficult telling the older boys, Harry asked me if my hair was going to fall out.
It’s challenging as they are quite young, and it’s unclear how much they comprehend. Fortunately, that’s advantageous since I don’t wish to burden them with complex ideas too soon.
In 2023, Danielle wasn’t facing her first health crisis related to cancer, as she was urgently taken to the hospital due to excessive bleeding.
After examination, doctors found that she had enlarged cysts in her ovaries. Fortunately, following a biopsy, they informed her that these cysts were not cancerous.
Last year, she too detected a lump in her breast. In October, following a biopsy, it was confirmed that the lump was non-cancerous.
