Daniella Karagach’s Hilarious Take on Dancing with Tall NBA Stars

Dancing With The Stars is set to reappear in the 2025 TV lineup later this year, though Daniella Karagach hasn‘t confirmed if she’ll be participating, I can only wish for her comeback. Her performance with ex-NBA star Dwight Howard last season was nearly as memorable as her victory with Iman Shumpert, and it appears that partnering with NBA stars is becoming her specialty.

I had a chat with Karagach discussing collaboration with two towering NBA legends. She shared insights into her experience of working alongside dance partners who are 6’5″ and 6’10”, while she herself is just 5’5″. During this conversation, she reminisced about her partnership with Howard, and the amusing anecdote she shared after yet another occasion where she had to choreograph routines for someone significantly taller than herself.

I informed Dwight at the end of last season that if any member of his team or anyone else wanted to appear on the show, they should feel free to do so. I just asked for a moment to catch my breath and regain my usual stance. Maintaining this stretch throughout the entire season is quite challenging, though it’s puzzling as to why I keep getting matched with tall athletes.

In our partnership for Dancing With The Stars Season 33, Daniella Karagach and I, despite my towering height compared to hers, managed quite well. Although we didn’t make it past seventh place in the competition, a particular dance of ours on the Halloween show remains an unforgettable moment, still sending chills down my spine whenever I recall it.

What captivates me about the swinging move in that dance is its sheer impression – it’s hard for me to imagine placing such trust in an amateur dancer. Frankly, I wouldn’t feel confident enough to twirl someone around like that myself, but given Dwight Howard’s robust build, I can understand he might have felt less apprehensive.

On Dancing With The Stars, Daniella Karagach might be partnered with another athlete, but she remains unfazed. She shared her reasons for not being concerned when it comes to teaming up with tall pro athletes and how she’s even built friendships with some of them post-show.

It seems to be a mystery why I’m the one, but here’s the thing – I thrive on challenges, and oddly enough, every single one ends up becoming like one of my closest friends. Last week, Dwight even dropped by with his pet, so it’s just that…it creates connections, and for some reason we click, you understand. Maybe our personalities complement each other.

To date, it has been confirmed that Alix Earle will appear in Season 34 of “Dancing With The Stars,” and Robert Irwin is also being considered. However, there’s a possibility that Daniella Karagach might not want to rule out further training since there are rumors about inviting former NFL player and current “Good Morning America” host Michael Strahan for the season as well.

It would be delightful to watch Daniella Karagach and her husband, Pasha Pashkov, together on “Dancing With The Stars” Season 34. Not only is it exciting to see married professionals competing against each other on ABC’s reality show, but I believe Daniella consistently provides some of the most engaging choreography on the series.

The official cast announcement for “Dancing with the Stars” Season 34 is yet to come, scheduled for August. Fingers crossed that it’ll be as exciting as the last few seasons, filled with unexpected eliminations and dazzling performances!

Anticipate watching Dancing With The Stars Season 34 on ABC this autumn. By the time summer ends, we should know the lineup of stars. All we can do is stay tuned for further hints about who might have a chance to win the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy!
