Daniel Garcia should make the jump to WWE
As a long-time wrestling fan who has seen countless performers rise and fall, I must say that Daniel Garcia is one of the most promising talents to emerge in recent years. His unique style, charisma, and innate understanding of the craft have made him stand out amidst AEW’s stacked roster. However, it seems like he hasn’t quite gotten the spotlight he deserves, which leaves us fans on the edge of our seats, wondering what could be.
In All Elite Wrestling (AEW), there’s an impressive lineup of top-notch talent, but this abundance can sometimes limit the spotlight for rising stars like Daniel Garcia. Regrettably, it appears that his contract with AEW is due to expire in the autumn. Given his skill and potential, AEW should make a strong effort to retain him as a signed talent. However, if he chooses not to renew, the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) could offer promising career advancements for Garcia.
Garcia has had a fluctuating career in All Elite Wrestling, with periods of activity followed by inactivity. At one point, it seemed like he might betray Chris Jericho and pursue the Ring of Honor Championship, but that didn’t transpire. Instead, he gained traction from a storyline where he lost most of his matches during the AEW Continental Classic. Unfortunately, this momentum didn’t lead to any significant outcomes. More recently, he has been written off television following an attack by MJF, and it appears his time with the company could be coming to an end.
It’s rumored that WWE is considering Garcia, and it seems a smart move given his background. This year, he turns 26 and boasts seven years of experience. What sets him apart isn’t just his experience, but his innate grasp of both professional wrestling and sports entertainment – a skill set that’s hard to learn. His repertoire already includes several impressive matches, and as time progresses, this collection is expected to grow even more substantial.
Ponder the scenario where Daniel Garcia joins WWE NXT. While it might seem far-fetched initially, consider this as a chance for Garcia to grasp the company’s unique style and embark on an impressive journey. A journey reminiscent of Ilja Dragunov’s during his time in NXT. It was there that Dragunov solidified his place among the world’s elite, and Garcia has the potential to replicate this success. There are numerous enticing matchups waiting to be made. Visualize him against Pete Dunne, Tyler Bate, Wes Lee, Oba Femi, Axiom, Nathan Frazer, and many more. Don’t shy away from imagining high-profile main roster performers stepping onto the brand to square off against him as well. With WWE NXT Champion written across his back, this could be the moment in the limelight that Garcia deserves.
Daniel Garcia is highly respected within the AEW roster, but hasn’t had a chance to shine brightly yet. If his contract expires and he joins WWE, he could excel greatly in NXT, demonstrating to everyone that he’s ready for a leading role on the main roster.
