Daniel Craig got the giggles after Sesame Street made a parody of his latest Knives Out movie.
Daniel Craig, known for playing James Bond, stars as the detective Benoit Blanc in a popular series of movies. Now, the creators of Sesame Street have made their own version of the character.
Before the new movie, Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, came out, Daniel got a sneak peek at a parody of Knives Out that featured the detective, Benoit Blanc.
‘I love it,’ Daniel said in stitches, adding Beignet is: ‘Much better looking than I am.’
I was absolutely cracking up when he playfully begged everyone not to show the clip to Rian Johnson, the director of Knives Out! He joked that he’d be replaced if Rian saw it – it was hilarious!
In this funny sketch, Grover is assisting Detective Beignet Blanc (Daniel) in solving a mystery: who devoured Cookie Monster’s pie?

Daniel put out a call for Grover to be his next ‘sidekick’.
He explained that he’s found the perfect sidekick, praising his ‘Wake Up Dead Man’ co-star Josh O’Connor and noting their acting styles are quite similar.
Daniel joked that Josh’s behavior was similar, pointing out a small, characteristic habit he has.
He shared that he really enjoyed the tribute and was upset he hadn’t been involved.
He expressed his frustration at not being able to participate alongside the others.
‘As someone who grew up on Sesame Street, this is quite moving.’
The new movie, Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, is receiving rave reviews, earning a perfect 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes before it even hits theaters.
The latest mystery in Rian Johnson’s popular series finds detective Benoit Blanc investigating a murder that takes place in a gloomy church.

Daniel is joined by a stellar group of actors, featuring Andrew Scott, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Cailee Spaeny, Kerry Washington, Mila Kunis, Daryl McCormack, and Thomas Haden Church.
Jeremy Renner previously appeared briefly in the films, but this time he’ll have a much larger and more important part.
Although the film won’t be available on Netflix until Friday, critics who saw it in theaters have given it rave reviews.
Collider praised ‘Wake Up Dead Man’ as a more complex, intense, and emotionally resonant story than the previous books in the series. They noted that Johnson delves into themes of belief, reason, and how we create meaning through stories, all within a compelling murder mystery.
Punch Drunk Critics praised the work as a deeply complex mystery, exploring themes of belief, finding forgiveness, seeking revenge, and ultimately, achieving redemption.
Meanwhile, The Wrap branded the film a ‘glorious, goofy gothic horror.’
While ‘Wake Up Dead Man’ delves deeply into questions about death, it’s also the most vibrant and energetic film in Rian Johnson’s ‘Knives Out’ series.
Filming for the Netflix movie began last summer, and the director, Rian, has praised the talented cast he’s working with.

He said he feels fortunate to have worked with some of his favorite actors in each of his films, and that’s definitely true of this one, including Daniel and other stars.
Everyone involved is also just genuinely nice and works well together, which makes the whole experience enjoyable – almost like a dinner party. When you’re creating a film with a lot of different actors, that kind of positive atmosphere is really important.
Jeremy will have a significant role in the third movie. He previously made a cameo in the second film as a bottle of ‘Renning Hot’ habanero sauce.
He took that joke in stride and Johnson was thrilled to get the chance to work with him.
‘Jeremy’s a great actor who I’ve wanted to work with for a long time,’ Rian told Netflix’s Tudum.
I was so glad he didn’t mind the hot sauce joke! He’s really involved in this project, so we’ll make sure the sauce doesn’t appear in any shots. We might put a few bottles on the food table, though.
