Danica Patrick Blasts Rachel Zegler Over Snow White Box Office Disaster!
Danica Patrick found joy in Rachel Zegler’s Snow White movie’s poor performance, since the remake consistently reported disappointing ticket sales.
Previously known for his career in racing and modeling, the 43-year-old individual recently expressed criticism towards a Disney film via a shared video, also targeting a 23-year-old actress. This post initially originated from the Instagram account named “Irrelevant News”.
According to Us Weekly, she titled her post “Goodbye,” making her the most recent celebrity to join the controversy surrounding the film.
The re-made film is estimated to have cost approximately $214 million, but it’s looking like a potential failure at the box office because it managed to earn just $42.2 million during its debut weekend in domestic markets.
In its second weekend at the box office, the movie directed by Mark Webb dropped by 66%, bringing in a total of $143.1 million worldwide, according to reports from the Associated Press.
Despite Snow White’s successful debut on March 31, landing it the No. 1 position, the action thriller starring Jason Statham, titled A Working Man, claimed the top spot a week after Snow White had premiered.

On Tuesday, Ariana DeBose, a co-star from Zegler’s West Side Story and aged 34, seemed to criticize her on Instagram by directly quoting Jonah Platt, the son of Snow White producer Marc Platt. In a recent outburst that has since been deleted, Jonah had spoken negatively about Zegler.
The now-deleted post read: ‘Narcissism is not something to be coddled or encouraged.’
She soundtracked it to Beyonce’s song Cozy, and turned off the comments.
Later on, DeBose clarified that her initial post wasn’t aimed at Zegler; instead, she explained herself in a statement shared on her Instagram Story once her original post gained widespread attention.
She shared a quote that she found significant, acknowledging that she hadn’t researched its origin or understood its connection before someone else highlighted it.
In the digital interaction with a fan, Jonah described Zegler as “showing signs of immaturity” and “having narcissistic tendencies.
He acted after receiving a fan’s remark, which alluded to an article from Variety suggesting that Marc traveled to New York for discussions with Zegler regarding her contentious pro-Palestine social media statements.
It seems your father traveled to New York City to scold a young actress. Could you provide some insight into this situation? I find that behavior extremely inappropriate and unwarranted. Shouldn’t everyone have the freedom of speech? It’s disappointing to see such actions.
As a lifestyle expert, I might put it this way: “Indeed, in my experience, even in the glamorous world of entertainment, where a single Disney intellectual property can carry hundreds of millions of dollars, family matters often take a backseat. Recently, I found myself in a situation where I had to abandon mine to fly cross-country and address an issue with an employee, a 20-year-old, who unfortunately blurred her personal political views with our professional obligations. This young lady had agreed to promote the film, for which she signed a multi-million dollar contract, in the public eye.
In another part of his comment, he suggested Rachel’s actions negatively impacted the film. He further explained: ‘Freedom of speech doesn’t give you the right to make controversial statements in your workplace without facing consequences. Many people were involved in making that movie and she took the focus away from the project for her own selfish reasons, potentially harming her colleagues, crew, and the blue-collar workers whose livelihoods depend on the success of the film.’

During the promotional events for Snow White, rumors swirled about a backstage disagreement between Rachel and her fellow actress Gal Gadot.
It’s widely understood that her stance on the longstanding Israeli-Palestinian dispute, given she hails from Israel, might have been a reason for some disagreement.
Regardless of any reported tension, the two ladies conducted their promotional tasks in a friendly and proficient manner.
With the reboot premiering in late March, Zegler expressed her enthusiasm on social media, disregarding any external distractions.
As an ardent admirer, I couldn’t help but share some exclusive behind-the-scenes moments from the making of this movie that has shaped my career for the past four years! The personal growth I experienced, from being cast at twenty to now, twenty-three, is indescribable yet vividly captured on screen forever.
Over the span of this movie, I matured significantly – I learned tough lessons, faced challenges, experienced joy and sadness, reached the age of 21, lived far from my family, made fresh connections, and developed a profound affection for the team I collaborated with for three enchanting summers in London.
She ended the note by writing, ‘Remember, you’re the one who can fill the world with sunshine.’
