Dani Dyer put on a glamorous display as she joined her dad Danny at the Rolling Stone UK Awards. 

Former Love Island contestant, age 29, and a 48-year-old actor from EastEnders were among the first celebrities to arrive at the event, which took place at the Roundhouse in Camden, London.

Dani stunned on the red carpet in a sparkling black dress. The sheer gown had a fitted, corset-style top and was covered in delicate, jeweled lace.

She wore a strapless dress with sheer fabric that highlighted her legs, completing the look with black and silver chain heels.

Her father, Danny, who was hosting the event, looked very stylish in a black satin suit with a shiny brooch and cool aviator sunglasses.

The musician, known as Rivals, shared their excitement about hosting the ZYN Rolling Stone UK Awards 2025, saying they’re ‘buzzing’ to do it.

‘It’s going to be bigger and better than ever and I can’t wait to get amongst it. Let’s have it!’ 

The nominations for the Rolling Stone UK Awards were announced on Tuesday. 

The nominees for The Artist Award are Joy Crookes, Lewis Capaldi, Little Simz, Obongjayar, Olivia Dean, and Sam Fender.

The nominees for The Album Award, sponsored by ZYN, are FKA twigs with ‘EUSEXUA’, The Last Dinner Party with ‘From the Pyre’, Little Simz with ‘Lotus’, Pulp with ‘More’, Sam Fender with ‘People Watching’, and Wolf Alice with ‘The Clearing’.

Oasis has been nominated for two awards—Best Group and Best Live Act—following the success of their recent reunion tour.

Stephen Graham is nominated for a TV award for his performance in Adolescence. He’s competing against Jack Rooke from Big Boys and Sally Wainwright, the creator of Riot Women.

Little Simz has also been nominated for a film award for her work on the Netflix series Steve, and Cynthia Erivo received a nomination for Wicked: For Good.

I’m so excited for the show! And get this – Fayth Ifil, who’s amazing in Just For One Day – the musical about the making of Live Aid – is going to perform! It’s a fantastic show and she’s brilliant in it, so I know it’ll be a great night.

This follows Dani speaking about her father Danny’s past treatments for drug addiction, explaining that he likely wouldn’t still be alive if he hadn’t sought help.

Danny has publicly discussed his struggles with drug use and has previously sought treatment at a rehabilitation center in South Africa.

Dani shared on Jamie Laing’s podcast, ‘Good Company,’ that her father’s initial attempt at something didn’t succeed because of an agreement he made with someone who ate excessively.

She explained that he’d been to rehab two times, and the first time, he was actually exchanging chocolate cream eggs for diazepam pills.

One person was in treatment for a food-related issue, and the other for drug addiction, making a successful relationship impossible.

This time, his stay in rehab was more intense, and Dani has said her father believes his role on the soap opera EastEnders, where he portrayed Mick Carter, ultimately helped him get better.

She explained that his second trip to treatment was a clear sign of how bad things had become. They all believed he wouldn’t have survived without getting help, as his condition was extremely severe.

He often credits EastEnders with turning his life around. He was struggling with personal issues and using alcohol and drugs, but he realized he needed to change. He considers it the best decision he ever made.

He associated with a negative crowd early on. After initially socializing with people who weren’t good influences, he later drastically reduced contact with about 70% of his acquaintances.
