Duddell’s, a celebrated Hong Kong restaurant known for its food and art, is launching a new chapter. Following a significant redesign by Andre Fu Studio, the restaurant will host “Let’s start over,” a solo exhibition featuring the work of internationally recognized artist Danh Võ. The exhibition, curated by William Zhao, gets its name from a memorable quote in the film *Happy Together*, reflecting Duddell’s own revitalized space. It will be open to the public from September 17, 2025, to April 6, 2026.

This exhibition offers a thoughtful look at themes of identity, memory, and family history, showcasing Võ’s work over the past ten years. He first gained recognition at the 2015 Venice Biennale for his ability to creatively rework common items, sacred objects, and personal family documents into compelling displays. Rather than being loud or dramatic, his art encourages viewers to connect with the transformed materials and find their own individual and shared significance.
