Newly-minted Dancing with the Stars winner Robert Irwin speaks out on his victory.
In an interview with Good Morning America (reported by Yahoo), Irwin discussed winning Dancing with the Stars and how he persevered despite being injured. Here’s what he said:
It’s painful, but, you know, no pain, no gain, but it’s all good.
We were determined to succeed because it felt like the best way to express our gratitude for everything we’d been through.
We were having such a great time that I didn’t notice anything was wrong until it was over. Honestly, it was the best experience I’ve ever had.
