Dancing With The Stars judges and co-hosts REVEALED for the upcoming 33rd season
As a dedicated fan of Dancing With The Stars, spanning through its three-decade journey, I am absolutely thrilled to witness the return of my cherished trio – Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough – for the upcoming season 33! Their combined experience, wit, and passion for dance make every episode a delightful spectacle.
For the forthcoming Season 33 of Dancing with the Stars, Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough have confirmed their return as judges.
Julianna Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro will also return as co-hosts, according to People.
The list of celebrities have not been revealed as of yet.
Season 33 will premiere on Tuesday, September 17 on ABC and Disney+ at 8 pm ET.
Hey there! As a die-hard fan since day one, I’ve got to say that Carrie Anne and Bruno have graced our screens as judges on this iconic show since 2005 – that’s right, all the way back to the very first season! Their expertise, wit, and unwavering passion for the art form they serve never cease to amaze me. Here’s to many more seasons with these two fantastic judges!
As a seasoned lifestyle guru, I’ve had the privilege of serving as a trusted judge on Dancing with the Stars since its inception up until season 20. After a brief hiatus, I graced the judging panel once more from seasons 22 to 28, and then again in seasons 30 and 31. It’s been an absolute joy and learning experience every step of the way!
He died April 22, 2023 at age 78 due to prostate cancer.
In the 29th season, Derek transitioned into his role as a judge, but before that, he had been a dancer on the show for six seasons: seasons 5 through 11, seasons 13 to 21, and also season 23.
Last year, Julianne took over as a co-host, replacing Tyra Banks who had previously held the position for three years before stepping down.
Before taking on the role of co-host, Julianne had served as a judge from 2014 to 2021, and was a professional dancer between 2007 and 2009.
Alfonso became a co-host in 2022 alongside Tyra.
In the previous year, Alfonso shared with Entertainment Tonight his thoughts on Julianne becoming a co-host: “I believe our dynamic together will be simply terrific.”
Adding: ‘We’ve known each other so long. She was a judge on my season. We’ve known each other through the years and our energy just fees so right,’
About two hours and a half after we sat for lunch, we found ourselves saying, “It looks like it’s time to head home and get things done.” I believe this casual camaraderie and bond will be evident to viewers in the upcoming show.
Season 33 will debut on Tuesday, September 17 at 8 pm ET on Disney+ and ABC.
