In the video, Alex can be noticed self-administering an injection, which is a component of her IVF process, and also attached to intravenous drips while hospitalized.
In a video, Alex, who wed YouTube star Paul Klein in 2023, shared: “This year has been tough on me. Few people realize the depth of my struggles.
Experiencing the most fragile aspect of myself, I recognized that every ounce of strength was required just to endure my internal struggles. On the brink of surrender and losing my identity, the pain was overwhelming.
It’s been quite a challenge staying strong this year, but I can’t say exactly how many times I managed to pick myself up. Yet, I stand here today feeling incredibly proud of myself for making it through.
Alex added: ‘I’ve seen the saddest version of me, the most wasted and devastated.
Despite this situation, I’ve come to realize that I possess great strength within me. Additionally, I’ve discovered the importance of self-forgiveness – for allowing myself to accept less than I genuinely deserve.
Throughout the challenging times I’ve experienced this year, I’ve managed to learn a great deal about myself. Despite witnessing some of my darkest moments, I’ve come to accept and value myself more. Although this has been the most difficult year for me, at least I have emerged stronger and wiser.
She titled her post: ‘The toughest aspect of everything is learning to forgive myself for things beyond my control that I couldn’t change.’
