Dana White reacts to Demetrious Johnson’s retirement

UFC president Dana White expresses his belief that former ONE Championship fighter Demetrius Johnson could potentially be inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame following his retirement. “He had an exceptional career,” White said to Grind City Media, adding, “I’ve always supported Demetrious Johnson. In fact, I defended him from fans more than anyone else.

Upon learning that Johnson had formally stepped down, my immediate reaction was, “When can we induct him into the UFC Hall of Fame?” Seems like many others share this sentiment as well. He truly deserves this recognition and I fervently hope the UFC doesn’t delay the process. If it doesn’t happen by 2025, I might just cause a stir!

Sean Brady wants to fight Colby Covington

Following his victory at UFC Vegas 97, Sean Brady expressed his desire to face off against Colby Covington. In simple terms, he’s ready for that challenge. He believes Covington is the most suitable opponent in the division. Brady plans to outmaneuver him on the feet. He also mentioned that he could overpower Covington, using more technical terms, “rag doll” him. During his post-fight interview, he boldly declared, “I’d fight Colby in an instant! UFC, please arrange this fight for me. I promise to defeat him. Frankly, I don’t think he deserves a ranking. When was the last time he competed?

I genuinely enjoy this match-up. I believe that Colby Covington is the ideal next challenge for Brady, and if Covington fails to defeat Brady, it might be time for him to reconsider his career. This contest could potentially headline a Fight Night event, perhaps in Florida or even Philadelphia.

Cody Durden wants to be in the UFC video game

Following his victory against Matt Schnell last Saturday, Cody Durden expressed a request to join the UFC competition. In a tweet, he said, “Now it’s time for me to step into the game! I have fought in 11 bouts within the UFC, consistently maintaining my weight, and focusing solely on business!

When I came across the tweet, it took me aback as I thought he was already participating in the game. It does strike me as peculiar that he isn’t involved, given his long tenure in the UFC and impressive track record. What’s more, he’s quite a colorful character, one fans might eagerly anticipate. Here’s hoping they include him in the next version.
