At a screening of her latest movie, “Materialists,” Dakota Johnson attended alongside her mom, Melanie Griffith, on Wednesday night, right here in Los Angeles at the London Hotel.

At the occasion, the 35-year-old actress gracefully embodied elegance by donning a sleek, white, sleeveless gown featuring an alluring v-neck design.

The clothing item also had a cream-colored bottom, and Dakota enhanced her natural charm using a gentle spectrum of cosmetics.

In addition, Melanie appeared stunning in a brown see-through turtleneck sweater that she neatly matched with a pair of denim pants.

In a beige trench coat, the actress enhanced her stature with a pair of brown boots and accessorized with a bag that coordinated with her outfit.

Melanie and her former spouse, Don Johnson (whom she was married to for just under a year back in 1976), co-parent Dakota together.

Additionally, Dakota was accompanied by her sibling, Jesse Johnson. Notably, Jesse is the offspring of Dakota’s father, Don Johnson, and actress Patti D’Arbanville.

In the movie, titled “Materialists,” Dakota plays the role of Lucy, a New York City matchmaker who runs into complications when she’s caught between finding the ideal partner and reconciling with an old flame who isn’t quite perfect. She shares screen time with Chris Evans and Pedro Pascal in this film.

Additionally, Dakota has just agreed to act alongside Anne Hathaway and Josh Hartnett in ‘Verity’, a movie based on the book with the same title written by Colleen Hoover.

The 50 Shades of Grey star is currently in a relationship with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. 

In January, the couple was spotted walking hand-in-hand during their visit to India, dispelling earlier speculations that they had parted ways following a report from an initial source denying their separation.

In March 2024, a source shared with People that the couple had been engaged for quite some time, yet they were taking their sweet time before tying the knot.

They’ve encountered difficulties and temporary separations previously, but currently, everything is going well for them. They are passionate about their professions, and they are doing their best to manage their work-life balance.

In August 2024, their representative dismissed break-up speculations to E!, confirming that they are contentedly united.

In an interview with Rolling Stone last year, Martin surprisingly referred to his partner as one of his “closest companions.

He emphasized that romantic love plays a significant role in various aspects of life, despite our natural inclination to cherish it as a personal matter; he wasn’t implying that it lacks potency.

Despite maintaining a private relationship, they reportedly never parted ways since meeting through a mutual friend in 2022, as she shared with Vanity Fair.

Furthermore, I wholeheartedly express my affection for my children, Apple (age 20) and Moses (age 18), whom I share with my former wife, Gwyneth Paltrow. They hold a significant place in my heart.

She shared with Bustle that she cherishes those children as if her life hinges on it, expressing her feelings about being a stepmother last year.
