On Tuesday, actress Dakota Johnson attended the premiere of her latest movie, Splitsville, accompanied by her famous mother, Melanie Griffith.
At a recent event held at The Grove in Los Angeles, the 35-year-old actress and the 68-year-old star of Working Girl graced the red carpet as an elegant pair, striking poses side by side.
Dakota, who previously expressed her disdain for the focus on nepotism offspring as “incredibly annoying and dull,” dazzled in a tightly fitted, sleeveless metal dress recently.

Dakota spent her childhood years living with Antonio Banderas, who served as her stepfather, and her elderly grandmother, Tippi Hedren, who was 95 years old at the time.
Dakota decided to apply for The Juilliard School after her father made it clear that attending college was a condition for continuing to receive their allowance, so she prepared by rehearsing monologues from both William Shakespeare and Steve Martin.
In a May interview with ELLE UK, Dakota confessed that she wasn’t enthusiastic about attending college and found it challenging to earn a living. However, she also expressed her disappointment at the thought of losing financial support from the alum of Miami Vice.
