Dakota Johnson ‘dating again’ after ‘hot and cold’ Chris Martin relationship as friends say ‘she’s moved on’

Sources say Dakota Johnson is dating again following an on-and-off relationship with Chris Martin.

I’ve been following this story closely, and it seems my favorite actress is doing really well after her breakup with the Coldplay singer. Apparently, she’s accepted it and is moving forward with her life, which is great to see after eight years together – they were even engaged! It’s sad, of course, but it sounds like she’s handling things with grace.

He’s now dating Sophie Turner, 29, and sources say they have a strong connection after going on several dates in London.

Sources close to Dakota say she’s doing well and has moved on after her breakup with Chris, despite initially wanting the relationship to last.

A source told People: ‘She’s in a great place. She is happy, fulfilled and she has moved on.   

Their relationship with Chris was always up and down, and although she really wanted it to last, she seems happier and more relaxed now that they’ve broken up.

Daily Mail has contacted Dakota Johnson’s representative for comment. 

Sources close to the pair report that Chris and Sophie seem to have a real connection, following a private date they went on last month.

Sophie was a longtime admirer of Chris and his music, even before they actually met.

She once playfully admitted to having a schoolgirl crush on him, making it both amusing and unexpected that they eventually fell in love for real.

The Daily Mail reached out to a spokesperson for Chris Martin. Sophie Turner’s representative did not offer a statement.

The Game of Thrones actress ended her almost two-year relationship with Peregrine Pearson, 31, in late September. Shortly after, the Daily Mail reported she was seen on a date with Coldplay’s lead singer.

Rumors of their breakup started circulating after Sophie unfollowed Peregrine on Instagram earlier in the year, initially suggesting trouble in their relationship.

Peregrine is the oldest son and expected heir of Michael Pearson, the 4th Viscount Cowdray. His father is a former movie producer who controls a large part of the Pearson media company.

Cowdray Park Polo Club, located on his family’s historic estate, features ten polo fields and holds over 450 matches annually.

The actress began dating the son of Viscount Cowdray in December 2023, following her split from Joe Jonas after four years of marriage.

Sophie and her partner frequently shared updates about their relationship online, with Sophie’s most recent post featuring Perry – as he was known – dating back to January.
