Daisy Ridley’s London-set thriller Cleaner finally has a UK release date.

Under the guidance of director Martin Campbell, the movie portrays a band of passionate activists storming an energy firm’s yearly gala. They capture 300 guests as a means to unmask the corrupt practices of those hosting the event, according to Deadline.

The synopsis continues: “Their just cause is hijacked by a zealous extremist within their ranks, who is ready to murder everyone in the building to send his anarchic message to the world.”

In the thrilling movie, it falls on the shoulders of Ridley, a former soldier now working as a window cleaner, to be the hero and turn the tide. This film also features Clive Owen and Taz Skylar.

Viewers who can’t wait will find “Cleaner” on their screens soon, as its UK and Ireland release has been officially set for the beginning of 2025 through Sky Cinema.

The actor from “Star Wars” isn’t just going to star in one movie in the next few months; in fact, a trailer for Ridley’s upcoming film titled “Magpie” was unveiled this week, hinting at more appearances on the big screen.

Under the guidance of director Sam Yates, the summary presents “Magpie” as a sleek, modern-day film noir mystery. The story revolves around the couple Anette (Ridley) and Ben (Shazad Latif), whose relationship starts to unravel when their daughter is chosen to work alongside the alluring movie star, Alicia (Matilda Lutz).

As Anette’s doubts about Ben’s growing affection for Alicia become stronger, their hidden truths and deceit may soon erupt, potentially causing harm to everyone involved.

It will be released in US cinemas on October 25 but is yet to receive a UK release date.

Recently, Ridley graced our screens in the critically-acclaimed film titled “Young Woman and the Sea“, where she portrayed Olympic swimmer Gertrude Ederle.

Cleaner will be released in early 2025 via Sky Cinema.
