Daisy May Cooper shows off her incredible 10-stone weight loss in a form-fitting black outfit at The Six Billion Dollar Man UK premiere

Daisy May Cooper showed off her impressive weight loss of ten stone while at the UK premiere of The Six Billion Dollar Man on Tuesday.

The comedian, 39, confidently showed off her weight loss – she’s gone from a size 24 to a size 10 – wearing a sleek black outfit.

She wore a chic black-and-white outfit: a fitted blazer over a basic tank top and wide-leg trousers.

Daisy was accompanied by her friend and co-star Jennifer Robinson. The two looked happy and cheerful as they posed for pictures on the red carpet.

The star has been on a dramatic weight loss journey over the last two years to improve her health.

She initially tried the Keto diet, which severely restricts carbohydrates, but later said that while it was effective for her, she wouldn’t suggest it to others.

The TV star recently told the Daily Mail she got kidney stones after following a diet similar to King Henry VIII – mostly meat and cheese. She also criticized the intense pressure on women to lose weight, calling it ‘insane’ and ‘horrendous’.

Daisy recently revealed that her significant weight loss of ten stone and getting lip fillers caused delays in the production of the second season of ‘Am I Being Unreasonable?’.

The actress explained that the new season of the popular BBC comedy will pick up right where the last one left off, even though it’s been three years since it originally aired.

However, things didn’t unfold as expected after Daisy had a significant makeover and several cosmetic procedures.

The comedian discussed the difficulties of maintaining a consistent appearance on this weekend’s episode of The Jonathan Ross Show. He explained that the first and second series are meant to follow each other closely in time, but during that short gap, he lost a significant amount of weight – around 10 stone – and also had cosmetic lip enhancements.

After seeing the initial edit of the show, I immediately contacted the BBC. I told them, “We need to be upfront about Daisy having lip fillers. Let’s include a disclaimer at the start and ask viewers not to criticize her for it.”

Am I Being Unreasonable is a quirky comedy about two friends whose carefree life starts to fall apart.

Daisy shared that she’s received a lot of messages lately from people saying she’s ‘lost her sense of humor’ after changing how she looks.

The mother of two shared on the BBC podcast ‘How To Be In The Spotlight’ that while she supports body positivity, she was unhappiest when she was at her largest and struggled with a serious eating problem.

Let me tell you, going through a divorce is incredibly tough, and I really hit a low point after my split from Will in 2021. Honestly, I wasn’t taking care of myself at all. I was seriously out of shape – even walking up stairs left me breathless. More than the physical side, though, I was just deeply unhappy. It was a wake-up call that I needed to prioritize my health and wellbeing.

‘And I’ve had some messages like, “Well, now you’ve lost the weight you’re not funny any more.”

I was really frustrated by a recent joke that relied on the stereotype of funny women also being overweight. While I believe everyone deserves to feel comfortable and confident in their own body, that particular trope bothered me personally.

At the premiere of “Am I Being Unreasonable” in January, people noticed a significant change in Daisy’s appearance. Her face looked more sculpted, and she didn’t have any wrinkles on her forehead.

The actor has openly discussed having cosmetic procedures like fillers in the past. More recently, she revealed doctors suggested she stop getting Botox because it was starting to affect her ability to express emotions, potentially hindering her career.

The actress revealed in 2024 that she’d tried facial fillers, but regretted it. She said they resulted in a puffy appearance – what’s sometimes called ‘pillow face’ – and made it difficult for her to move her facial muscles.

She revealed in a June interview with the BBC that her agent prohibited her from having any further Botox or fillers, worried it would affect her ability to perform.

She admitted to getting both Botox and fillers, but said the results were terrible. She recalled appearing on the show ‘The One Show’ and hating how frozen and unnatural her face looked – like a ‘pillow face’ – because she couldn’t move her facial muscles.

‘My agent said to me: “You’ve got to stop because you’re not going to be able to f*****g act”.

I was so surprised with the results of the treatment that I lost all movement in my eyebrows. I really liked how smooth my forehead looked before, so I decided to stop getting the procedure. However, I’ve never had any cosmetic surgery.

I went to consult with a surgeon about a tummy tuck, but I was really put off by what they told me. They mentioned a potential complication – these flaps of skin that can form on the sides – and it worried me so much that I decided against the surgery. I figured I’d just stick with using Spanx to get the look I wanted.
