Daisy May Cooper reveals she was hoodwinked into joining a swingers club when she tried to pursue her interest in witchcraft
As a devoted fan of Daisy May Cooper, I find her extraordinary journey through the paranormal world utterly captivating! Her experiences are a testament to the unpredictable nature of life and the boundless human imagination. From being duped into a swingers club while seeking wisdom in witchcraft to chasing ghostly dreams, Daisy’s adventures remind us that sometimes, reality can be far more bizarre than fiction.
As an ardent enthusiast, I found myself unwittingly drawn into a social circle that happened to be a swingers club – all while my genuine intention was to explore the mystical world of sorcery.
During lockdown, the 38-year-old actress participated in a virtual meeting via Zoom with the group’s spiritual leaders, Brian and Karen, who are both priests.
As a devoted admirer, I couldn’t help but feel a pang of unease when the conversation veered away from discussing her captivating interest in witchcraft, and instead delved into personal matters such as her comfort levels with nudity and intimate experiences shared among others at their residence.
In her latest book Hexy Btch*, as reported by The Sun, Daisy discloses that she found herself doubting Brian and Karen’s trustworthiness when the truth came to light. It seems they were involved in alternative relationships, possibly swingers or doggers, or perhaps both.
If I were interested in a threesome, I wouldn’t have pretended such deep curiosity about witchcraft just to post an ad on Stroud Swingers.
Despite turning down their offer, Daisy reveals she did instead try to pursue a ghost for sex.
But she says her fantasy of a ‘dreamboat Victorian’ visiting her quickly fell flat, with a ghostly presence ‘looking like Phil Mitchell’ instead greeting her.
She writes: ‘I’ll just wait until the ghost of my dreams knocks on my door. Just like everything in the paranormal world, I remain open.’
Daisy says her interest in ghosts began after the death of This Country co-star Michael Sleggs.
Michael, known for portraying Michael ‘Slugs’ Slugette in the BBC Three comedy, passed away in 2019 at the age of 33, following complications stemming from a prolonged struggle with heart disease.
This week, Daisy shared with The Times that Michael’s passing was the moment she started to suspect supernatural occurrences.
The catalyst for all this was the passing of Michael Sleggs. Towards the end, he was receiving palliative care and had endured pain throughout his life. His fear of death was palpable.
However, he called me later and shared, “I’m no longer afraid, I sensed an angelic light beneath my bed telling me that by the seventh day, at midnight, I would receive a new body.” Remarkably, he passed away exactly seven days later, just one minute short of midnight. This revelation brought immense comfort to me.
Daisy said she told Michael he ‘has to come back and tell me you’re ok’.
She went on to say: ‘He would have attended, but I hadn’t received any confirmation. This left me questioning my assumptions. Suddenly, I found myself here, with the blanket being raised, no draft in the room. Then there was a sound, a rhythmic knocking on the bedroom door. And Slugs lamented, “I’m disappointed that I won’t make it to the Phoenix festival”.’
As a devoted follower, I can share that Michael holds a special affection for the annual festival in Cirencester, particularly the time when a Guns N’ Roses tribute act was performing there.
She remarked about the chilling incident, asking, “Was that just a coincidence?” and went on to mention that she’s had further strange occurrences since his passing.
