As a huge fan of Normal People, I was thrilled to read about Daisy Edgar-Jones’ experiences during the making of the hit series and her close friendship with Paul Mescal. It’s always fascinating to get a glimpse into the lives of actors and their off-screen relationships.
On a stylish note, Daisy Edgar-Jones made an appearance in New York City on Friday, carrying on with her bustling promotional activities for her upcoming part in “Twisters.”
The actress, aged 26, confidently showcased her well-sculpted figure in a white crop top and black cycling shorts with a high waist.
The actress looked both relaxed and chic in a maroon-brown patent leather jacket and a petite raspberry handbag.
Daisy adorned herself with sleek sunglasses having thin frames, silver hoop earrings, and black leather loafers.
The actress from “Normal People,” who is currently in New York, is marketing her leading part in the upcoming hit movie titled “Twisters.”
Daisy smiled radiantly at the cameras, her dark brown hair neatly brushed and her bangs softly accentuating her features.

On Wednesdays, you could say the actress made an appearance on BBC Radio 1’s Breakfast program hosted by Greg James. During this episode, they engaged in a game of “Sit Down, Stand Up.”
Daisy chose to contact her “Normal People” costar Paul, who is 28 years old, initially. However, she confessed, “Paul reached out to me during the filming of this project, but I didn’t respond.”
Host Greg replied: ‘That’s true, you blanked him. He was so sad when no one picked up.’
Daisy expressed: “I think he might not answer my call, so it may be a comfort that it’s not only him. It’s not about me personally.”
Daisy then made her prediction that Paul would be standing, with Greg saying he would be sitting.
The phone then started to ring, with Daisy quipping, ‘Oh! He hung up. Wow. He just hung up.’
After attempting to reach him once more, there was no response from Paul. As a result, Daisy had to concede, saying, “It seems we must give up.”
‘It’s fine, we are even. It is one all. I’ll have strong words with him later.’
After Daisy revealed the sweetness of her friendship and acting partnership with Paul by lifting the lid on their relationship.
Since meeting on the Normal People film set in 2019, this pair has been charming fans with glimpses into their sweet camaraderie.
In a recent chat with Variety, the actress shared that the Gladiator II co-star is among her closest friends throughout her life.
In her interview with the press, she shared: “He’s very down-to-earth, and I believe I am as well. It’s delightful to have such anchors in life and companions who let us find joy and relaxation through shared laughter.”
“Paul and I crossed paths when I was twenty and he was twenty-two. I can’t wait to discover what the future holds for us at thirty-two and beyond.”
In 2020, the actress gained significant recognition after only 12 episodes aired on BBC Three, based on Sally Rooney’s novel adaptation.
In “Normal People,” Daisy’s character, Marianne Sheridan, and Paul’s character, Connell Waldron, were portrayed as they navigated their romantic connection from their teenage years in secondary school all the way through college.
But Daisy has now admitted that that is where the story ends.
In an Entertainment Tonight interview, the actress was queried about the prospect of a second season, to which she replied, “I’m not aware of a second season being planned.”
According to Daisy’s perspective, she would be thrilled to catch up with Marianne and Connell once more, expressing her delight: “That story and its characters hold a special place in my heart. I’d enjoy knowing what happens to them a decade later.”
