This chilling horror film titled “Daddy’s Head” was crafted by director Benjamin Barfoot. Notably, he has also worked on the horror-comedy “Double Date”, as well as several episodes for the British news analysis program “Panorama”. Produced by Matthew James Wilkinson and Patrick Tolan of Stigma Films, this spine-tingling movie is a must-watch.
Following the death of his father, a youthful boy named Isaac finds himself under the guardianship of his mourning stepmother, Laura, as he has no other living relatives. They cohabit in a spacious rural manor, where they face challenges in forging a bond.
The situation takes a darker turn when Isaac starts encountering eerie noises around the house, which seem like his late father trying to contact him. Upon investigating the source of these sounds, he uncovers that it’s not his dad but a horrifying entity mimicking his appearance. This revelation leaves both Isaac and Laura shaken, as their sanity deteriorates and their lives fall apart with the monstrous figure relentlessly pursuing them.
Rupert Turnbull and Julia Brown take on the main characters of Isaac and Laura in the production. Alongside them are Nathaniel Martello-White, known for roles in “I Hate Suzie” and “Small Axe: Mangrove”, and Charles Aitken, who has appeared in “Happy Death Day” and “The Girl On The Train”.
