D4vd’s rental allegedly had freezer big enough to store a body… after Celeste Rivas was found frozen

Investigators have learned more about the house D4vd was renting when Celeste Rivas, 15, was found dead in the trunk of his Tesla, which had been seized by authorities.

Photos obtained by TMZ show the 20-year-old singer, now a person of interest in a death investigation, was renting a place with a freezer reportedly big enough to hold a human body.

Investigators recently revealed disturbing details about how Rivas was found: his body had been decapitated and frozen.

On Sunday, the publication shared a photo of the kitchen in the rental home, which featured a large KitchenAid refrigerator and freezer.

The freezer is approximately 74 inches tall, 14 inches wide, and 27 inches deep. It can get as cold as -8°F.

Rivas, described as 5’3″ and 120 pounds, was found in a bag with their arms and legs removed. Investigators believe this may have allowed the body to fit inside an appliance if the shelves were taken out.

TMZ pointed out a video from September 2024 showing the singer, David Burke, inside a home with what appeared to be a freezer box visible in the background.

Investigators report the teenager’s body was found dismembered – with limbs severed, and the head removed – and cut into multiple pieces.

Sources told TMZ that when her body was discovered in the Tesla, it had begun to thaw after being partially frozen.

While D4vd has been named as a suspect, he has not been charged with any crime.

Investigators have now identified a second person of interest in the death of Rivas, according to a report from a TMZ podcast.

On their show, 2 Angry Men, lawyer Mark Geragos and Harvey Levin, the founder of TMZ, shared what they discovered.

People magazine reported on Wednesday that a police source believes the individual in question was probably involved in hiding the body.

Geragos confirmed he knows the LAPD has created a thorough timeline of events by compiling information from social media, cell phone records, and data from Tesla’s vehicle tracking system.

He explained that investigators have meticulously pieced together the events, creating a detailed timeline – accurate down to the minute – which is documented in a chart at the LAPD.

Los Angeles police found Rivas’ body inside a car after people reported a bad smell coming from it.

According to police, the car had been held at the impound lot for several days. They discovered a body inside a bag in the vehicle’s front trunk.

Footage captured by ABC 7 showed police surrounding the car before it was eventually towed away.

The car had Texas license plates and was left in the Hollywood Hills before being towed and stored at the impound lot.

Shortly before reports connected him to the abandoned Tesla, the musician promoted the expanded edition of his first album, Withered.
