Singer D4vd is selling some of his properties while authorities investigate the death of a 14-year-old girl. Her remains were discovered in a Tesla he owns.

Singer D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, has apparently given the ownership of two of his properties near Houston, Texas, to his mother. This information comes from documents obtained by TMZ on Thursday.

According to KPRC Houston, the houses aren’t listed under the 20-year-old singer’s name. Instead, they’re listed under the Thorn Rose Trust, a name that seems to reference his 2023 EP, ‘Petals To Thorns’.

The Daily Mail reached out to D4vd’s lawyer and manager for a statement, but they haven’t responded yet.

Since September 8th, the singer has faced public scrutiny after the body of Celeste Rivas was found in the trunk of a Tesla linked to D4vd. The car had been impounded by authorities.

The car had been parked close to the house he was renting in the Hollywood Hills before it was taken to the impound lot.

According to the real estate documents, D4vd transferred the home deeds on September 18 and 22.

The initial money transfer occurred only a day after police searched D4vd’s rented house in Hollywood on September 17th.

I was so shocked to hear about what happened to D4vd’s family. Apparently, on September 18th, someone falsely reported a serious emergency at their home – a ‘swatting’ incident, the police called it. It turns out his family was already living there, and they were the ones targeted by this awful hoax.

Someone used a voice changer to make a fake 911 call, reporting a shooting and a woman’s death at a home in Cypress, Texas. The caller claimed D4vd had transferred the call to his mother.

TMZ obtained police bodycam video showing officers arriving at D4vd’s home, where his parents answered the door.

The singer’s mother told police her brother and sister were also at home and safe. After realizing the call was likely a dangerous prank, officers left the property approximately 20 minutes later.

Los Angeles police announced late last month that Celeste Rivas had probably been deceased for several weeks before her body was found in the front trunk of a Tesla belonging to the musician D4vd.

As a longtime follower of this case, it’s been incredibly frustrating to see how slowly things seem to be moving forward with Rivas’ death. The police haven’t been sharing much information, and honestly, it’s led to a lot of criticism of the investigation all across Los Angeles. People are really starting to question what’s happening.

While the investigation continues without much public information, D4vd hasn’t commented on whether he knew the person found in his vehicle.

After police searched his home, the singer reportedly ended his lease early – costing him around $20,000 – and moved out of his Hollywood Hills property, which was close to where his Tesla was parked.

Los Angeles police said they found some evidence during the search, but haven’t released details about what that evidence is.

D4vd has been keeping a low profile and has decided to cancel his upcoming tour. He’s also postponed the release of a deluxe version of his album, *Withered*, which first came out in April.

D4vd’s manager, Josh Marshall, has stated that he had no involvement in the death of Rivas.

Marshall, the owner of Mogul Vision, addressed a TikTok user who made claims about his involvement in the case without providing any proof.

Marshall responded angrily, saying, “How can you say that without any proof? This video is inaccurate, and the person who made it doesn’t have the right information. I won’t be discussing this further—at least, not for now.”

But then things got really confusing when a video surfaced that was taken in September. It really threw everything into question and made the timeline much more complicated.

A video obtained by TMZ seems to show Rivas yelling at her neighbors, accusing them of repeatedly ringing her parents’ doorbell and then running away.

Police haven’t confirmed whether they knew Rivas might have gone back to her family’s house after she was first reported missing.

Police were called to Rivas’ home 33 times in the past three years, according to 911 records obtained by the Daily Mail.

But then, after she was reported missing, a full twenty-two calls came in – a significant jump that definitely raises questions.

Deputies also responded to five criminal complaints and one emergency 911 call before April 2024.

Five were for actual crimes, and one was a 911 emergency call. It’s all there in the records, and honestly, it’s just… unsettling. I need to know what was going on!

People familiar with the case have told the Daily Mail that Rivas experienced difficulties at home and had left her family on several occasions.

Although investigators haven’t confirmed a connection between D4vd and Rivas’ death, people who were with them at parties told TMZ they saw the singer with Rivas and thought they were dating.

They stated they believed she was 19 years old, but she was actually only 14.
