A song released almost two years ago by the artist D4vd may contain a key piece of information related to the tragic death of a teenage girl.
Earlier this month, 15-year-old Celeste Rivas was found dead inside a car registered to a rapper in Hollywood, California.
A demo song called “Celeste_Demo unfin” recently surfaced on Soundcloud. The lyrics hint at several personal characteristics of the artist, Celeste.
The song features the lines: ‘Oh, Celeste, the girl whose name is tattooed on my chest. I can still smell her scent on my clothes, like cigarettes, and I hear her voice with every breath I take. I’m completely consumed by thoughts of her.’
The song’s lyrics then suggest the artist is talking about a romantic connection with the person he’s singing about.
Daily Mail has reached out to D4vd via Instagram for comment on this developing story.

This collection of lines expresses a complex mix of feelings. It starts with a playful yet suggestive comment (‘Oh, Celeste’), followed by vulnerability about a fear of being loved only for physical appearance. There’s a compliment about someone looking beautiful in a dress, then a confession of sadness from missing someone. Finally, the speaker abruptly changes the subject, acknowledging they’ve gotten off track.
It was not clear if D4vd was singing about Celeste in the track.
It was awful. We at Hollywood Tow noticed this terrible smell coming from a Tesla belonging to David Anthony Burke – that’s the artist’s real name, by the way – and that’s how this whole thing started, according to what officials told NBCLA.
The singer is working with investigators as they look into the details surrounding the death, according to a spokesperson.
A representative for D4vd confirmed on September 9th that the artist is aware of the situation and is working with authorities while continuing his tour.
D4vd has not been charged with any crime.
Officials said the car was taken into custody after someone reported it left abandoned in the Hollywood Hills.
Police said that the vehicle had been there for a couple of days when it was reported to them.
TMZ reported on Wednesday that a social media profile thought to belong to the teenage artist D4vd had been discovered online, appearing to be linked to his local area.

The photo featured D4vd in Lake Elsinore, California, a town near where Celeste and her family lived.
D4vd has a tattoo on his right index finger that says ‘shhh,’ a detail that matches information shared by Celeste’s mother and investigators working on the case.
D4vd first became popular on TikTok, where he gained over 3.6 million followers.
After gaining popularity, D4vd was signed to recording contracts with both Interscope Records and Darkroom.
